Subject: Please explain the Trinity |
Bible Note: Hi jlpangilinan, Are you interested in learning about the Trinity also? This has been an interest of mine since before June of 1985. I am still trying, still penciling in my personal changes of interpretation about Him. This life we live in the Lord is a process is it not? God is not through with us yet. Before I go into my interpretation of the Scriptures and theology you have presented, may I speak to you more about what I have considered with Sisterkath? I would like to encourage you both to get an old copy of the Scriptures and "pencil in" some changes as they become meaningful to you. It has worked pretty well for me these last 18 years. l) I have encouraged Sisterkath to change that "active force" to "Spirit" in Genesis 1:2. 2) I encourage you to add a pronoun in verse 16 as the KJ and others do in order to make the sentence complete. "He also made the stars"; for I believe the triune God is the Light of the world. 3) I encourage you to have a copy of the NASB or NKJ which capitalizes Deity to use next to your translation choice. 3) These copies that capitalize Deity will point out verse 26 where it says, "Let Us make man in Our image, according to Our likeness". Here is an affirmation of the Trinity to my mind with those three pronouns. 4) With these changes penciled in your NWT, you too can believe with me about the Trinity. With these penciled in changes you can have the pronouns of God be divisible by three for Genesis chapter one. If you are desirous of knowing the one true God, Father, Son, and Holy Spirit; are you willing to pencil in some changes to your translation? If not, we are wasting our time for it would show that you are not looking for the Truth. From the heart, Ray |
