Bible Note: Thanks all for your reply! The questions about Bible don't affect my belief in God. But I want to know about them for those who interest in Christian and don't belive in God. I can't just say to them, "don't suspend, just believe." And for me, there are three possible: Everything in Bible is true as we understand now; Bible is true, but I understand in wrong way; the world's theories or hypothesises are true, and the Bible talks in parable, not accurate. If a theory can give enough evidence or can be logically proved, though is different from what Bible says, I can't deny it. To me, being honest is more important than believing in Bible, because my faith should be based on truth, otherwise it is meaningless. I don't think that God can be proved by a formula, a theory or an experiment. God has kept a space between the truths and what human beings can prove, to test and show our faith. But I think for all different from the Bible, though we can't prove whether it is true or false, we can find that they have insufficiency of their evidence or incompletion of their logic. Parable, Thanks for your recommendation! I will try to find the book. |
