Subject: question to smoke pot or not |
Bible Note: I smoked pot for 30 yrs, I think I can qualify to judge pot smoking. Some pot smokers led me to the Lord too. Unfortunately, these same pot smokers loved pot so much, they eventually lost their home from spending all their money on pot, they had 2 kids too. Stange a non-addictive substance would make them do that, huh? My husband is a pot smoker. I remember when my daughter was born, he took the 50 dollars that someone gave us to start her saving acct and bought pot w/it. He has done way too many things in persuit of pot to mention including running up CC bills on cash advances, trading things that were irreplaceable for pot. When he doesn't have it, he is mean, nasty, irritable. Now he has a steady supply and I actually paid him off one time to get out of smoking it w/him any more because his dream was to have a wife who loved to smoke pot w/him-he needed money to work on his car so I said I'll give you the money if I can quit smoking pot w/you-sad, huh? But it's not addictive... Then his buddy just got out of prison for pot. He was on work release, had great job as auto mechanic at a dealership and failed drug test and had to go back to do rest of time-couldn't NOT smoke it and now he's out, goes to probation officer once a month, smokes right after the visit so he can pass test later. This man is in his 40s. No, it's not addictive! I remember wanting some so bad before but wasn't any available so I'd get drunk and smoke cigarettes as substitute. I'd even buy some roll your own smokes for substitutes. No, it's not addicting! It may not give you DTs, it's not physical but mental, but you still crave it, enough to do all kinds of things you shouldn't as in examples shown above. I'm sure there are many other Xpot smokers who can say similar things. |
