feather, Greetings and you are always welcome. Firstly who's telling her it may be demonic influence? Secondly with the issues you are describing it sounds like she should be seeking solid pastoral counseling and professional help. This is the best course of action as A pastor and a professional would be best equiped to handle this. In Him, lionheart |

71 | is cutting always demon possesion | Bible general Archive 4 | lionheart | 212803 | ||
feather, I'm glad to hear your friend is getting help and she is at a good starting point. But I'm not real quick to attribute demonic influence to this. There are other things that this could be. It could be a number of things. My youngest son use to cut and burn himself when he got stressed or upset. We got him with a doctor and got him counseling and today he's a different person. That's why it's hard to discriminate between phsycological,physical or spiritual and many of us not being professionals could wind up enflaming the situation and not helping at all. This being a biblestudy forum we can learn from and encourege oneanother. I believe your friend will be best served doing what she's doing now and if the subject hasn't been broached yet it probobly would be a good idea for her to see her doctor if she hasn't done so already. Keep comming back it's good to have you here with us and if we can be of any help or encouragement you are always welcome. In Him, lionheart |

justme, Far be it from me to cast doubt or question on anyone. 4 runner, grafted in gave you a pretty solid answer. Look at verse 29, The good that God works in our life is to make us more like Jesus. In terms of the the people you mentioned along with many others who came before our Lord the good God worked in there lives didn't always come in good time but God took those times and worked it all for the good. It was all part of God's plan of redemption. in Him, lionheart |

John, Good day my brother. That's where I was at for many years, but what made me particularly dangerous was that I was trying to make all my corrupt and bias thinking biblically based. What a shame and unfortunatly that kind of thinking is still out there. In Him, lionheart |

Searcher, Good day brother. This seems to be a passage of scripture that constantly gets turned around. We wanna take the good and weed out the bad. Too bad because it's oft times that God brings the greatest good out of those things. We have so many living examples with us today as well as in the past. God can and will work every situation for His and our good be it good or bad. In Him, lionheart |
