Rev 21:3 And I heard a great voice out of heaven saying, Behold, the tabernacle of God is with men, and he will dwell with them, and they shall be his people, and God himself shall be with them, and be their God. Rev 21:22 And I saw no temple therein: for the Lord God Almighty and the Lamb are the temple of it. Rev 21:23 And the city had no need of the sun, neither of the moon, to shine in it: for the glory of God did lighten it, and the Lamb is the light thereof. |

22 | Are we not to judge others? | Matt 7:5 | Pastor Glenn | 141986
We are to judge righteously and fairly without hypocracy. It is hypocratic to tell someone about their sin if you are doing worse sin. First get right with God about your own sin and then you can help someone with less sin. This is what Christ was teaching in Mat 7:5. Matthew 7:5 Thou hypocrite, first cast out the beam out of thine own eye; and then shalt thou see clearly to cast out the mote out of thy brother's eye. Here are more scriptures concerning judging: Joh 7:24 Judge not according to the appearance, but judge righteous judgment. Mat 12:33 Either make the tree good, and his fruit good; or else make the tree corrupt, and his fruit corrupt: for the tree is known by his fruit. 1Co 6:2 Do ye not know that the saints shall judge the world? and if the world shall be judged by you, are ye unworthy to judge the smallest matters? 1Co 6:3 Know ye not that we shall judge angels? how much more things that pertain to this life? Gal 6:1 Brethren, if a man be overtaken in a fault, ye which are spiritual, restore such an one in the spirit of meekness; considering thyself, lest thou also be tempted. 1Co 5:1 It is reported commonly that there is fornication among you, and such fornication as is not so much as named among the Gentiles, that one should have his father's wife. 1Co 5:2 And ye are puffed up, and have not rather mourned, that he that hath done this deed might be taken away from among you. 1Co 5:3 For I verily, as absent in body, but present in spirit, have judged already, as though I were present, concerning him that hath so done this deed, 1Co 5:4 In the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, when ye are gathered together, and my spirit, with the power of our Lord Jesus Christ, 1Co 5:5 To deliver such an one unto Satan for the destruction of the flesh, that the spirit may be saved in the day of the Lord Jesus. 1Co 5:6 Your glorying is not good. Know ye not that a little leaven leaveneth the whole lump? 1Co 5:7 Purge out therefore the old leaven, that ye may be a new lump, as ye are unleavened. For even Christ our passover is sacrificed for us: 1Co 5:8 Therefore let us keep the feast, not with old leaven, neither with the leaven of malice and wickedness; but with the unleavened bread of sincerity and truth. 1Co 5:9 I wrote unto you in an epistle not to company with fornicators: 1Co 5:10 Yet not altogether with the fornicators of this world, or with the covetous, or extortioners, or with idolaters; for then must ye needs go out of the world. 1Co 5:11 But now I have written unto you not to keep company, if any man that is called a brother be a fornicator, or covetous, or an idolater, or a railer, or a drunkard, or an extortioner; with such an one no not to eat. 1Co 5:12 For what have I to do to judge them also that are without? do not ye judge them that are within? 1Co 5:13 But them that are without God judgeth. Therefore put away from among yourselves that wicked person. Pastor Glenn |

24 | Is there danger of guessing what He did? | Job | Pastor Glenn | 141794
Hello Searcher, “Should we guess what God impressed on the heart of men before the Law given by God that is not recorded in the Bible?” Luk 10:27 And he answering said, Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy strength, and with all thy mind; and thy neighbour as thyself. Luk 10:28 And he said unto him, Thou hast answered right: this do, and thou shalt live. I think that we already know enough facts so that we do not need to guess. 1. Salvation was always the same way for all men, for all time: By the blood of the Lamb. Gen 3:21 Also for Adam and his wife the LORD God made tunics of skin, and clothed them. (Implies some animal died here.) 2. Without the shedding of blood there is no remission of sin: Hebrews 9:22 And according to the law almost all things are purified with blood, and without shedding of blood there is no remission. 3. All of the Law and the Prophets hang on these two Old Testament commands: Deuteronomy 6:5, Leviticus 19:18 (Wouldn’t God have to reveil these to all men of all time for salvation?) 4. Jesus expected any teacher of Israel (Old Testament) to already know that they must be born again: John 3:10 5. Job knew of his Redeemer: Job 19:25 For I know that my Redeemer lives, And He shall stand at last on the earth; There is probably much more as we ponder the scriptures, Your brother in Christ, Pastor Glenn |

26 | What does it mean to be saved? | Ps 32:1 | Pastor Glenn | 141129
Hello Ssnail, When we accept Jesus by faith, we are declared righteous by God. We are born again of the Spirit (John 3) and have a new nature: Rom 4 5 But to him who does not work but believes on Him who justifies the ungodly, his faith is accounted for righteousness, 6 just as David also describes the blessedness of the man to whom God imputes righteousness apart from works: 7 "Blessed are those whose lawless deeds are forgiven, And whose sins are covered; 8 Blessed is the man to whom the LORD shall not impute sin." (Psalm 32:1-2) |

27 | am I saved | John | Pastor Glenn | 141127
Hello Toeknee, It appears the your main question is "why you are wrestling with lust since you were easily delivered from worse things?". The answer is that once we are born again, it is only the beginning of the struggle between the flesh (our old nature) vs the spirit (our new nature). Galatians 5:17 For the flesh lusteth against the Spirit, and the Spirit against the flesh: and these are contrary the one to the other: so that ye cannot do the things that ye would. Please study Romans 8 and Gal 5. Hope this helps, Pastor Glenn |

28 | In Matthew 21:42-44. Please tell me what | Is 28:16 | Pastor Glenn | 141105
Hello StarleyJim, Mat 21 42 Jesus said to them, "Have you never read in the Scriptures: "The stone which the builders rejected Has become the chief cornerstone. This was the LORD's doing, And it is marvelous in our eyes'?[j] 43 "Therefore I say to you, the kingdom of God will be taken from you and given to a nation bearing the fruits of it. 44 And whoever falls on this stone will be broken; but on whomever it falls, it will grind him to powder." 45 Now when the chief priests and Pharisees heard His parables, they perceived that He was speaking of them. 46 But when they sought to lay hands on Him, they feared the multitudes, because they took Him for a prophet. Jesus was quoting from Psalm 118:22, 23. This discussion begins at Mat 21:28. Over and over, Jesus has them to point out their own wickedness towards Him in parables. They come to realize they are the evil ones that He spoke of in the parables, but instead of repenting, they sought to attack Him. Jesus is the Stone that the builders (chief priests and Pharisees) refused (rejected or threw out). But He is become the Chief Cornerstone. This reference to Jesus as the Chief Cornerstone is a major fulfillment of prophecy (Isaiah 28:16, Psalm 118:22) that is referenced several times in the New Testament: 1. Psalm 118:22 The stone which the builders rejected Has become the chief cornerstone. 2. Matthew 21:42 Jesus said to them, "Have you never read in the Scriptures: "The stone which the builders rejected Has become the chief cornerstone. This was the LORD's doing, And it is marvelous in our eyes'? [ Psalm 118:22, 23] 3. Mark 12:10 Have you not even read this Scripture: "The stone which the builders rejected Has become the chief cornerstone. 4. Luke 20:17 Then He looked at them and said, "What then is this that is written: "The stone which the builders rejected Has become the chief cornerstone'? [ Psalm 118:22] 5. Acts 4:11 This is the "stone which was rejected by you builders, which has become the chief cornerstone.' [ Psalm 118:22] 6. Ephesians 2:20 having been built on the foundation of the apostles and prophets, Jesus Christ Himself being the chief cornerstone, 7. 1 Peter 2:6 Therefore it is also contained in the Scripture, "Behold, I lay in Zion A chief cornerstone, elect, precious, And he who believes on Him will by no means be put to shame." [ Isaiah 28:16] 8. 1 Peter 2:7 Therefore, to you who believe, He is precious; but to those who are disobedient, [ NU-Text reads to those who disbelieve.] "The stone which the builders rejected Has become the chief cornerstone," |

29 | history of Mary Magdalene? | Luke 8:2 | Pastor Glenn | 141081
Hello PreciousJ, Here are all 12 of the verses that include Mary Magdalene's name: Matthew 27:56 Among which was Mary Magdalene, and Mary the mother of James and Joses, and the mother of Zebedees children. Matthew 27:61 And there was Mary Magdalene, and the other Mary, sitting over against the sepulchre. Matthew 28:1 In the end of the sabbath, as it began to dawn toward the first day of the week, came Mary Magdalene and the other Mary to see the sepulchre. Mark 15:40 There were also women looking on afar off: among whom was Mary Magdalene, and Mary the mother of James the less and of Joses, and Salome; Mark 15:47 And Mary Magdalene and Mary the mother of Joses beheld where he was laid. Mark 16:1 And when the sabbath was past, Mary Magdalene, and Mary the mother of James, and Salome, had bought sweet spices, that they might come and anoint him. Mark 16:9 Now when Jesus was risen early the first day of the week, he appeared first to Mary Magdalene, out of whom he had cast seven devils. Luke 8:2 And certain women, which had been healed of evil spirits and infirmities, Mary called Magdalene, out of whom went seven devils, Luke 24:10 It was Mary Magdalene and Joanna, and Mary the mother of James, and other women that were with them, which told these things unto the apostles. John 19:25 Now there stood by the cross of Jesus his mother, and his mother's sister, Mary the wife of Cleophas, and Mary Magdalene. John 20:1 The first day of the week cometh Mary Magdalene early, when it was yet dark, unto the sepulchre, and seeth the stone taken away from the sepulchre. John 20:18 Mary Magdalene came and told the disciples that she had seen the LORD, and that he had spoken these things unto her. |

30 | Sorry | Rom 8:28 | Pastor Glenn | 141076
Hello ngkh, "We will never know if those dead Christians are what 1John 2:3 said they are, will we? " Only God knows our hearts even better than we do. He deals with us based on what is really there: Jer 17 9 "The heart is deceitful above all things, And desperately wicked; Who can know it? 10 I, the LORD, search the heart, I test the mind, Even to give every man according to his ways, According to the fruit of his doings. Hebrews 4 12 For the word of God is living and powerful, and sharper than any two-edged sword, piercing even to the division of soul and spirit, and of joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart. 13 And there is no creature hidden from His sight, but all things are naked and open to the eyes of Him to whom we must give account. "... Even your new post mentioned repentence, disobedience, evil." We should always be willing to humble ourselves and pray and seek God's face and turn from our wicked ways. When we are too proud, we deceive ourselves and do not listen to God's warning. 1 Cor 6 9 Do you not know that the unrighteous will not inherit the kingdom of God? Do not be deceived. Neither fornicators, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor homosexuals,[a] nor sodomites, 10 nor thieves, nor covetous, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor extortioners will inherit the kingdom of God. No, we do not know peoples hearts, whether they are good or evil. So we cannot judge. Bad things happen to good people too, but it works out for their good. 1 Pet 3 16 having a good conscience, that when they defame you as evildoers, those who revile your good conduct in Christ may be ashamed. 17 For it is better, if it is the will of God, to suffer for doing good than for doing evil. 18 For Christ also suffered once for sins, the just for the unjust, that He might bring us[a] to God, being put to death in the flesh but made alive by the Spirit, 1 Pet 4 12 Beloved, think it not strange concerning the fiery trial which is to try you, as though some strange thing happened unto you: 13 But rejoice, inasmuch as ye are partakers of Christ's sufferings; that, when his glory shall be revealed, ye may be glad also with exceeding joy. Romans 8:28 And we know that God causes all things to work together for good to those who love God, to those who are called according to His purpose. Amos 3 6 If a trumpet is blown in a city, will not the people be afraid? If there is calamity in a city, will not the LORD have done it? 7 Surely the Lord GOD does nothing, Unless He reveals His secret to His servants the prophets. Pastor Glenn |

31 | Aren't we in the age of GRACE? | Rom 8:28 | Pastor Glenn | 141051
Hello ngkh, "I thought with the coming of Christ, Paul said that we are no longer ruled by law but by grace. " This is true. But, I did not mention law, nor did I use scriptures that were based on law. "... We only need to believe and have faith that God loves us, blessings instead of harms shall come to us." We still need to live in love. It can be deceptive to say we believe while walking in sin: The Test of Knowing Him 1 John 2 3 Now by this we know that we know Him, if we keep His commandments. 4 He who says, "I know Him," and does not keep His commandments, is a liar, and the truth is not in him. 5 But whoever keeps His word, truly the love of God is perfected in him. By this we know that we are in Him. 6 He who says he abides in Him ought himself also to walk just as He walked. I quoted this scripture before (among others): Luke 13 4 Or those eighteen on whom the tower in Siloam fell and killed them, do you think that they were worse sinners than all other men who dwelt in Jerusalem? 5 I tell you, no; but unless you repent you will all likewise perish." As Jesus said here, this does not mean that they were worse sinners than others. But repentance does avert these kinds of disasters: Jer 18 7The instant I speak concerning a nation and concerning a kingdom, to pluck up, to pull down, and to destroy it, 8if that nation against whom I have spoken turns from its evil, I will relent of the disaster that I thought to bring upon it. 9And the instant I speak concerning a nation and concerning a kingdom, to build and to plant it, 10if it does evil in My sight so that it does not obey My voice, then I will relent concerning the good with which I said I would benefit it. 33 | Did she know him? | Judg 4:21 | Pastor Glenn | 140862
I do not see where she knew him personally. Maybe she was just prejudiced due to: Judges 4 2 and Jehovah selleth them into the hand of Jabin king of Canaan, who hath reigned in Hazor, and the head of his host [is] Sisera, and he is dwelling in Harosheth of the Goyim; 3 and the sons of Israel cry unto Jehovah, for he hath nine hundred chariots of iron, and he hath oppressed the sons of Israel mightily twenty years. 11 And Heber the Kenite hath been separated from the Kenite, from the sons of Hobab father-in-law of Moses, and he stretcheth out his tent unto the oak in Zaanaim, which [is] by Kedesh. So it would appear that she considered her family to be aligned with Israel. |

34 | How did Jael know to kill him? | Judg 4:21 | Pastor Glenn | 140857
Hello Wonderfully Made (wondrfleemade), God's prophecy from Deborah was that he will be killed by a woman. God's word is sure. First of all, the question is how did she know to flag him down: Judg 4:18 Jael went out to meet Sisera, and said to him, "Turn aside, my master, turn aside to me! Do not be afraid." And he turned aside to her into the tent, and she covered him with a rug. |

35 | what does the bible say about divorce | Mal 2:16 | Pastor Glenn | 140856
Hello ahtibat, Mal 2 14Yet you say, "For what reason?" Because the LORD has been witness Between you and the wife of your youth, With whom you have dealt treacherously; Yet she is your companion And your wife by covenant. 15But did He not make them one, Having a remnant of the Spirit? And why one? He seeks godly offspring. Therefore take heed to your spirit, And let none deal treacherously with the wife of his youth. 16"For the LORD God of Israel says That He hates divorce, For it covers one's garment with violence," Says the LORD of hosts. "Therefore take heed to your spirit, That you do not deal treacherously." 17You have wearied the LORD with your words; Yet you say, "In what way have we wearied Him?" In that you say, "Everyone who does evil Is good in the sight of the LORD, And He delights in them," Or, "Where is the God of justice?" Matthew 19 Marriage and Divorce Christ's Teaching on Divorce (A) 1 Now it came to pass, when Jesus had finished these sayings, that He departed from Galilee and came to the region of Judea beyond the Jordan. 2And great multitudes followed Him, and He healed them there. 3The Pharisees also came to Him, testing Him, and saying to Him, "Is it lawful for a man to divorce his wife for just any reason?" 4And He answered and said to them, "Have you not read that He who made[a] them at the beginning "made them male and female,'[b] 5and said, "For this reason a man shall leave his father and mother and be joined to his wife, and the two shall become one flesh'?[c] 6So then, they are no longer two but one flesh. Therefore what God has joined together, let not man separate." 7They said to Him, "Why then did Moses command to give a certificate of divorce, and to put her away?" 8He said to them, "Moses, because of the hardness of your hearts, permitted you to divorce your wives, but from the beginning it was not so. 9And I say to you, whoever divorces his wife, except for sexual immorality,[d] and marries another, commits adultery; and whoever marries her who is divorced commits adultery." The Church ritual and vows are assembled from general bible doctrines and scripture. |

36 | Why God allows such tragedy | Rom 8:28 | Pastor Glenn | 140840
Amen and Amen EdB! ngkh, I wanted to share a few scriptures concerning how much God cares, but men fail to repent even when disaster strikes: Jer 9 23 Thus says the LORD: "Let not the wise man glory in his wisdom, Let not the mighty man glory in his might, Nor let the rich man glory in his riches; 24But let him who glories glory in this, That he understands and knows Me, That I am the LORD, exercising lovingkindness, judgment, and righteousness in the earth. For in these I delight," says the LORD. It is so good to know that God delights in exercising lovingkindness, judgement, and righteousness in the earth. Also, notice how people in Jesus' day didn't know how to respond to tragedy either: Luke 13 4 Or those eighteen on whom the tower in Siloam fell and killed them, do you think that they were worse sinners than all other men who dwelt in Jerusalem? 5 I tell you, no; but unless you repent you will all likewise perish." This condition gets worse in times of great sin: Revelation 16:11 They blasphemed the God of heaven because of their pains and their sores, and did not repent of their deeds. Revelation 16:21 And great hail from heaven fell upon men, each hailstone about the weight of a talent. Men blasphemed God because of the plague of the hail, since that plague was exceedingly great. If people would repent there would be less tragedy in this world, but death is still sure in this life. God is offering eternal peace, without pain or tears for the next life. It was Adam that brought sin and death into the world, but we Christians need to seek a close relationship to God to make things better: 2 Chronicles 7 13 If I shut up heaven that there be no rain, or if I command the locusts to devour the land, or if I send pestilence among my people; 14 If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land. 15 Now mine eyes shall be open, and mine ears attent unto the prayer that is made in this place. The Question should not be why did God allow such tragedy. The question ought to be why arn't many of God's people "... which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; ". Pastor Glenn |

1 Thessalonians 5:22 Abstain from all appearance of evil. Hello Chris42, No, but it is probably just a matter of time. Why tempt yourselves? The scriptures say "flee youthful lusts"" 2 Timothy 2:22 Flee also youthful lusts; but pursue righteousness, faith, love, peace with those who call on the Lord out of a pure heart. At 77 you would probably say "what youthful lusts"? Why not just get married? James 1:15 Then when lust hath conceived, it bringeth forth sin: and sin, when it is finished, bringeth forth death. Please consider all of these scriptures. Go and talk to your pastor also. Merry Christmas, Pastor Glenn |

40 | Is Jesus was another of God's tests? | John 1:1 | Pastor Glenn | 140187
Exodus_20, We call ourselves "Christians" and worship Jesus because He is God. The bible tells us so: Isaiah 9 6 For unto us a Child is born, Unto us a Son is given; And the government will be upon His shoulder. And His name will be called Wonderful, Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace. John 1:1 In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. 2He was in the beginning with God. 3All things were made through Him, and without Him nothing was made that was made. There are many scripture verses that tells us that Christ is the only way to the kingdom of heaven. Here are a few: Acts 4:12 Nor is there salvation in any other, for there is no other name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved." John 10 7Then Jesus said to them again, "Most assuredly, I say to you, I am the door of the sheep. 8All who ever came before Me[a] are thieves and robbers, but the sheep did not hear them. 9I am the door. If anyone enters by Me, he will be saved, and will go in and out and find pasture. 10The thief does not come except to steal, and to kill, and to destroy. I have come that they may have life, and that they may have it more abundantly. John 14 1 "Let not your heart be troubled; you believe in God, believe also in Me. 2In My Father's house are many mansions;[a] if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you.[b] 3And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again and receive you to Myself; that where I am, there you may be also. 4And where I go you know, and the way you know." 5Thomas said to Him, "Lord, we do not know where You are going, and how can we know the way?" 6Jesus said to him, "I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me. John 20 28And Thomas answered and said to Him, "My Lord and my God!" Matthew 28:9 And as they went to tell his disciples, behold, Jesus met them, saying, All hail. And they came and held him by the feet, and worshipped him. Does this help? Pastor Glenn |
