141 | Take Your Holy Spirit from me? | Ps 51:11 | Scribe | 43055
The Holy Spirit will not abide in an unrepentant murderer, in the OT or the NT. But if a man is repentant then he has promise of the Holy Spirit adiding with him forever. Why is this point important? Because there are those that are fornicating behind the backs of their mates today while going to church on Sunday and saying they believe in a doctrine that they are still going to heaven but they will just loose some rewards when they get there. They obviously do not have the Holy Spirit even now if they really believe this. |

One other note I would like to add. What if the understanding of the "glorification and rising of the saints" (see why we use 'rapture') was clearly laid out in the 19th century. Would that make it unbiblical? I mean do you think all things eschatological has been explained prior to recent time. Many things dealing with the book of Revelation have been ignored by teachers and expositors that were prolific in other areas but avoided the study of eschatology. So it stands to reason that there are many truths buried in the Scripture that were not dealt with by your favorite teachers. :) We all know (or at least the well grounded among us) that there is no room for strange new doctrines that contradict that which is well established such as salvation by faith alone etc... but there are many truths in the Bible, especially the prophets of the OT that have been ignored by the ignorant masses of the church who are too busy to study the Bible. Some of these truths are waiting to be rediscovered, not because they are new truths but becuase they have been ignored while men squabble over whether they have free will or not, or because they have been lost when once they were embraced prior to the age of the Catholicsim which lasted hundreds of years. We are still having to recover that fervency of spirit seen in the Book of Acts. Many a protestant church still wears the grave cloths of tradition that was inherited from their fore fathers but not from the Word of God. May God Bless you in your Study of His Word. |

Thanks John, I stand corrected. However Seiss cites his sources and other writers throughout the book and many of these date back centuries before. I do not have the book with me, But I remember highlighting the sources so that I could bring it up when I hear these comments that make it sound like saints did not expect a catching away prior to a tribulation before the 19th century. They may not have called it by the name "rapture" but they expected the event to occur. I will have to get the book and qoute the sources when I get a chance. I do not read of any saying we dissapear though. The idea of disappearing seems to be a recent doctrine. The idea of glorification is what I see in the ancients, and what I get in reading the Bible. I am not dogmatic about certain eschatoligical views that are not made clear to man. The approach to understanding it, or that which I have faith for, is that of basing these mysteries first of all on the Prophets of the OT. I am convinced that all the NT has it's foundation on the OT prophets. So if there is a mystery that Paul had about a generation of living saints being glorified without dying then it must bee hinted at somewhere in the OT though it certainly could be hidden until Jesus came and the Holy Spirit was poured out and men like Paul were called to reveal it. So if I search the OT first on all things related to the bodily resurrection I do seem to see different events. Some that explain a resurrection of only the righteous and some that mention both the wicked and the righteous. One of the passages that I think is foundational is Isaiah 26:19-21 Thy dead men shall live, together with my dead body shall they arise. Awake and sing, ye that dwell in dust: for thy dew is as the dew of herbs, and the earth shall cast out the dead. Come, my people, enter thou into thy chambers, and shut thy doors about thee: hide thyself as it were for a little moment, until the indignation be overpast. For, behold, the LORD cometh out of his place to punish the inhabitants of the earth for their iniquity: the earth also shall disclose her blood, and shall no more cover her slain. If I compare this to what Paul spoke about in 1 cor 15 I begin to get a revelation of the same mystery that Paul had. There is such an event awaiting the saints and according to Is 26 there will be a time of judgement while these saints are hidden. If we were to collect all the verses on this topic we can see why there is strong evidence for a pre-trib rapture. Though it does not really matter to me. My central focus is to live as though the Lord will come today and to be able to say I have run a good race. I believe one should live as though this was their last day on earth. This is a challenge, that requires great faith. I will admit I often have to get on my face before God and repent that I am cold and in need of being made hot again. May God Bless you in your study of His Word. |

144 | Jesus according to Paul, vs. the Gospels | 2 Tim 3:16 | Scribe | 42846
Yes the book of Enoch. The writer was not Enoch and no serious scholar ever believed it was. It was not written until about 200Ad and it was an attempt by the writer to make it sound like Peter was quoting the book of Enoch. The writer probably made up an idea that he was possessed by the spirit of Enoch. This kind of thing is still with us in the cults that teach similar doctrines of the gnostics. The book of Hebrews was written by Paul and it is obvious if you compare it to Pauls writings. I don't much care for scholars that squabble over who wrote what. It is pretty obvious to the reader even if they aren't a Greek and Hebrew Scholar. God had been Gracious to keep His Word available to us, and will do so until we go to be with Him. I think writer of the The Apocalypse of Adam and the writer of the book of Enoch had similar demons. The book of Mormon and the Quran follow the same pattern of men trying to sound spiritual, but because they do not know God never pull it off to the discerning christian. The born again Christian is the only spiritual man that is in communion with the Holy Spirit and has the divine light that these imposters were trying to pretend. Thus the born again Christian can always recognize these imposters becuase the born again christiant that walks intimatly with Christ is so familiar with the truth and the light that the darkness and the false is manifest, or obviouse when the holy saint hears it or reads it. There is not much value in studying all the details of a cult teaching. All you really need, in order to expose them, is to be familiar with the truth. May God Bless you in Your Study of His Word. |

145 | How can God let us go through pain? | 1 Pet 2:24 | Scribe | 42802
I have seen cancer patients healed by faith in Jesus Christ and through prayer for healing. The Doctors might call it by names such as remission but if it does not come back it would be the same as a healing and so not worth arguing over. I remember when we prayed for a lady who is now healed. She had others around her that were planning her funeral. These people said they were Christians, and they did pray for her, but they never prayed for her to be healed, because they thought that would be too hard for God. OK, honestly I am sure they never said those words, but that is why Christians do not believe that God heals today, they simply find it hard to believe that God can heal. Oh yes they believe it happened in the NT. But then that was 2000 years ago and to acknowledge you believe that it happened then does not require any faith. I know that is a strange sounding statement but it is true nevertheless. It takes no faith at all to say thay you believe the story about Lazuras is true, or of the blind man Bartimaeus. But ask them to pray for this dear sister that was suffering from cancer to be healed like in the stories of the Bible and they quickly try to fish up an doctrine about how God turned in his healing card around 90 AD. I will tell you that many suffer and die becuase no one will pray for healing. Now that being said many might die and not be healed. I will not say it is always about not having faith. Sometimes if a person is ready to go to heaven (they are born again and fellowship with Christ in holiness) they may be healed by dieing. For the death of the saint is precious in the eyes of the Lord. Someone has called it the 'ultimate healing.' But if a person does not know the Lord and has sown to the flesh all their lives is God culpable if the sinner suffers in agony and disease? God forbid. The warning has been sounded for these many centuries, that if a man sows to the flesh of the flesh they shall reap corruption. But who are we to judge? you ask. Whether we judge the reason for human suffering or silently look on, the laws of reaping and sowing continue,. seed time and harvest.. cold and heat.. And whether we are honest and recognize that we are always more to blame for human suffering .. or we decide to belligerently blame God in the light of all the warnings issued for these thousands of years.. either way, God's voice will be heard, and in the end God will be justified, and found True, and righteous, and Just, and man found to be the blame. About the woman that was healed cancer... I was there when believers in the Word of God came to the prayer meeting and laid hands on her and spoke an abundance of scriptures on healing until faith arose in her heart and she was healed. I remember when some who were there kept trying to cast doubt saying .. "god does not always heal... and it may not be his will to heal.." and these saints were rebuked in love and asked to only pray scripture. After that the prayer changed and she was healed. In the bible there is more than one example when doubters are made to leave a room. I cannot explain why God has set it up that way. But He has. Often we receive not because we ask not. You think God would withhold blessing from someone because they did not ask? I think we withhold it from ourselves when we do not ask. Faith pleases God, not passive indifference. And the more fervent the faith, the greater the results. If when you pray for sick people you ask those that are there to only pray healing scriptures, then what happens is that the prayers turn to positive faith prayers. May God bless you in your study of His Word. |

146 | Adam and Eve ashamed of their nakedness? | Gen 3:7 | Scribe | 42794
The point is that as long as they did not know they were naked they had no shame. When they thought of being naked as a state of, not being covered when they should be, then they were ashamed. When adam hid himself it was because he knew he was naked. The point seems to be that he now knew he needed a covering for his sin. Genesis 3:7-11 And the eyes of them both were opened, and they knew that they were naked; and they sewed fig leaves together, and made themselves aprons. And they heard the voice of the LORD God walking in the garden in the cool of the day: and Adam and his wife hid themselves from the presence of the LORD God amongst the trees of the garden. And the LORD God called unto Adam, and said unto him, Where art thou? And he said, I heard thy voice in the garden, and I was afraid, because I was naked; and I hid myself. And he said, Who told thee that thou wast naked? Hast thou eaten of the tree, whereof I commanded thee that thou shouldest not eat? Innocence is better than knowledge of evil. Some may think they need to know about the details of sin but it is better to remain innocent. Paul said it was a shame to speak of those things that homosexuals do in secret. And this reveals the holy mind of the redeemed saint. We should follow after that which is good and flee all appearance of evil. No greater testimony does a young person have than to say I was saved at 6 and never messed with drugs, alcohol or sex. These young people may think they don't have a testimony worth sharing because they are accustomed to hearing testimonies of bank robbers and gangsters who were born again and changed by the grace of God. Those are wonderful testimonies but it is a greater story to hear how God has kept a youth from the age of accountability to adulthood away from all sorts of sins and even kept them innocent of the details of what others do in secret. And for those that were once involved in every kind of wicked work, God can renew the mind so that the dead works are purged and even the saint cannot remember the details. Innocence is to be cherished not maligned. Stay away from ministries that say they are called to expose the wicked things men do in secret, God's word has not changed, it is still a shame to speak about them. It is enough to call it sin without polluting wholesome thoughts with the details of the sin. |

147 | and the earth shall cast out the dead. | Is 26:19 | Scribe | 42679
Thank you. Then if this verse applies to the promise spoken about the glorification of the saints, wouldn't it be good exegesis to apply the rest of the passage event surrounding this rising of the saints. Isaiah 26:19-21 Thy dead men shall live, together with my dead body shall they arise. According to this passage, immediatlly after the rising of the saints, what happens? Does the world immediatly enter into the 1000 year reign? NO Look at what happens after the saints rise... Isaiah 26:20-21 Come, my people, enter thou into thy chambers, and shut thy doors about thee: hide thyself as it were for a little moment, until the indignation be overpast. For, behold, the LORD cometh out of his place to punish the inhabitants of the earth for their iniquity: the earth also shall disclose her blood, and shall no more cover her slain. So we see a time of outpouring of judgment on the world while the saints are hidden by God. Sounds as though this foundational prophecy that Paul got his revelation from is pre-trib in scope. Again I am not dogmatic about that which might be beyond human grasp. May God bless you in your study of His Word. |

Thank you John. I did read the sermon. I thought it was very good. Spurgeon seems to follow the spirit of the context in his explanation. I am almost convinced of his application, however I think the context about the ground not bearing fruit might indicate that Paul is not only saying that "if a person falls away completetly he would have not hope of eternal life" but that there may have been some that have. There may have been those that were once in the household of faith, who after falling away continually do not repent but instead invent doctrines to give them peace while they hold on to their addictions of fornication , pornography, alcoholism etc. I do not see this as far fetched because I have known and do know them. I know these men knew the Lord, but for many years now they have been bringing forth thorns and will have nothing to do with the church or with God. Will they still be saved? It would be impossible for them to be saved in that condition. Spurgeon sees it as impossible that a man that has known the Lord could fall to that degree. I wonder why he says that since in other articles he has made it known that he has met them. And I dare say you know a few as well. Now if we want to say they never knew the Lord at all, then I think we have entered into the domain of the secrets of men's hearts of which only Jesus Christ has been ordained judge. But if we want to say they do not know the Lord now in their continual state of many years of wicked living then we are on solid ground of our God given scriptural duty to known them by their fruits. I would rather say that they knew the Lord and now they have rejected him as Paul has stated in other passages than to say they never knew the Lord which I have no right to say. But then I do not have a "doctrine to uphold" but follow that which makes more common sense as I read and pray for light. May God bless you in your study of His Word. |

150 | Moses shining face | Ex 34:29 | Scribe | 42487
Ex 34:30 And when Aaron and all the children of Israel saw Moses, behold, the skin of his face shone; and they were afraid to come nigh him. Ex 34:31 And Moses called unto them; and Aaron and all the rulers of the congregation returned unto him: and Moses talked with them. Makarios has explained how 2 Cor 3 tells us it was a fading glory. But did you notice something about this story. The fact that the people were afraid of the shining and would not draw nigh. It was not a good thing that Moses had to wear a viel. The viel was a testimony against the unbelief and hardness of heart of the people. Also notice in 2 Cor 3 that he constrasts that fading glory that was visible to them with an unfading glory which is invisible (for now in this life) for us, made available to us who have faith and not a fearful unbelieving heart. Even today we must examine ourselves to make sure we are of the company of the "open face" and not of the number of those that shrink back. |

152 | Is baptism done only once? | Eph 4:5 | Scribe | 42414
Not to attack you personally but this is one of the most bizzare and illogical approaches to scripture I have ever read. To claim that Phillip was mistaken , even though the Spirit confirmed his Word and ministry with catching him away to another place is going a little far to proove your point isn't it. Maybe, you are wrong. I think you need to think about this one a little harder. You will notice too many efforts to twist the word to fit.
153 | Is baptism done only once? | Eph 4:5 | Scribe | 42412
Ac 11:15 And as I began to speak, the Holy Ghost fell on them, as on us at the beginning. Ac 11:16 Then remembered I the word of the Lord, how that he said, John indeed baptized with water; but ye shall be baptized with the Holy Ghost. Acts 10:44-48 While Peter yet spake these words, the Holy Ghost fell on all them which heard the word. And they of the circumcision which believed were astonished, as many as came with Peter, because that on the Gentiles also was poured out the gift of the Holy Ghost. For they heard them speak with tongues, and magnify God. Then answered Peter, Can any man forbid water, that these should not be baptized, which have received the Holy Ghost as well as we? And he commanded them to be baptized in the name of the Lord. Then prayed they him to tarry certain days. You have Peter saying That the Baptism of the Holy Spirit of all those believers gathered in Cornelius house was a fulfillment of what Jesus told them, and even with that knowledge Peter has them baptized in water also which serves a purpose (though you do not see the purpose). Then you do not have any apostle ever saying that one know longer needs to be baptized in water but you are willing to make that leap in you doctrine. This is adding to the scripture. Acts 19:2-7 He said unto them, Have ye received the Holy Ghost since ye believed? And they said unto him, We have not so much as heard whether there be any Holy Ghost. And he said unto them, Unto what then were ye baptized? And they said, Unto John's baptism. Then said Paul, John verily baptized with the baptism of repentance, saying unto the people, that they should believe on him which should come after him, that is, on Christ Jesus. When they heard this, they were baptized in the name of the Lord Jesus. And when Paul had laid his hands upon them, the Holy Ghost came on them; and they spake with tongues, and prophesied. And all the men were about twelve. So here we have Paul making a difference between being Baptized under John's ministry (who was not baptizing them in the Name of Jesus but did not even know the name of Jesus until after Jesus came to be baptized of John. So afterwards the disciples of Christ baptized in Jesus name and that baptism is a fuller revelation of what God was doing in reconciling man to God through Christ of which John only had hints or but not the full understanding. These 12 men had been baptized in Johns baptism, and yet they still needed a revelation of Christ. Paul undoubtedly preaches Christ to them and has them Baptized in the name of Jesus, though I do not think Paul did the baptizing but rather he had helpers. After these 12 were baptized then Paul laid hands on them to recieve the Holy Ghost and they spoke in tongues and prophecied. God is still doing this today. New Believers are saved by believing, and if they will go all the way with God they will publically pledge allegiance to Christ (which in that day they were truly taking a stand to be willing to die if need be) Today baptism in water and publically pledging allegiance to Christ is acceptable, in that day it was like stepping over the line and saying you are now ready to die for your faith. This sort of commitment is the purpose behind baptism in water. It is the initiation rite into this elite organization of zealots for God. You are either with Christ or you are against Him The Baptism in the Holy Ghost is also available to all believers that will ask and expect it. God Bless you All in the Study of His Word! |

154 | Do you disobey this commandment? | Bible general Archive 1 | Scribe | 42361
I will make one final point on keeping sabbath and then leave it to your own conscience. Define your idea of what the scripture teaches is lawfully keeping the sabbath. Not the many traditions of the Jewish scribes and lawyers that did not get their details from scripture, we know Jesus had plenty to say about them. But what does the scripture teach about lawfully keeping the sabbath. I will not attempt to convince a servant of God that he should or should not keep a law he wants to keep. But if you would keep it then by all means keep it according to the pattern shown in the book. If you depart from that pattern then you expose yourself as not one who is endeavoring to please God as all honest religous exercise would be, but you are demonstrating that you have some other agenda altogether foreign to sound doctrine. For no man can say I want to obey His commandments and then go about changing the details of the commandment given. This reveals a heart not of servitude but of an arrogant and self willed heart, willing to presumptiously change the law to fit his convienience. Ex 31:14 Ye shall keep the sabbath therefore; for it is holy unto you: every one that defileth it shall surely be put to death: for whosoever doeth any work therein, that soul shall be cut off from among his people. First of all you would have to form an Eccliastic government over your parishoners so that you might enforce the law open the law breakers. For to keep the sabbath yourself and yet not obey this part of the commandment is to keep part and break part. Ex 35:3 Ye shall kindle no fire throughout your habitations upon the sabbath day. Then you must also start no fires in your fireplaces or even cook on the stove that day. Would it be lawful to use the microwave? I think not. I could go on but I think the point is made. Keep the sabbath day but keep it holy. If you do work on that day you have broken it. If you think that attending a church is keeping it you make a mistake. If you drive to church you have broken it. |

155 | Is baptism done only once? | Eph 4:5 | Scribe | 42359
The Ethiopian Eunuech was baptized in water after believing on Christ by the preaching of Phillip. Ac 8:38 And he commanded the chariot to stand still: and they went down both into the water, both Philip and the eunuch; and he baptized him. This was after pentecost. And Cornelius... Ac 10:46 For they heard them speak with tongues, and magnify God. Then answered Peter, Ac 10:47 Can any man forbid water, that these should not be baptized, which have received the Holy Ghost as well as we? Ac 10:48 And he commanded them to be baptized in the name of the Lord. Then prayed they him to tarry certain days. This too was after the day of Pentecost. Baptism in water is to be done by all those that come to Christ. There is nothing fleshly about outward observance of water baptism. A good understanding in just how spiritual an exercise it is, can be obtained when you understand the necessity for us to make ourselves accountable. When we openly confess our Alegiance to Christ we win half, nay three forths of the battle, of the fight of drawing back the next day or the next week. This is a lesson learned that we would do well to remember through out our christian journey. When you find yourself struggling with any sin, make yourself accountable to others, confessing that you will have nothing more to do with that sin and are pledgeing your allegiance to Christ and Him alone. God Bless you all in your Study of God's Word. |

156 | Do you disobey this commandment? | Bible general Archive 1 | Scribe | 42274
the sabbath days are detailed in the Law. Do a study on sabbath and you will see how there were mentions of sabbath rests of so many years etc. You may be misunderstanding the scripture. It says Jesus is NOT the shadow. The sabbath is the shadow Jesus is the BODY that cast the shadow. The shadow is not the REAL thing the Body that cast the shadow is the REAL thing. Jesus is the reality of the other shadows in the law including meat offerings, and feast days as well. These all point to what Jesus did for us and does for us in the Real spiritual realm and that is what you want to obtain. The reality of the temple in heaven is what you want to dwell in not one made with stones in Israel somewhere. The reality of the Heavenly sabbath is the one you want to enter into so that you might rest for eternity not the one that is only a symbol of the Heavenly one. You want to seek after and obtain the actual Presence of Christ and see Him face to face, and not just be satisfied with your knowledge of Him in this life only. We seek a better country, we seek a better city, we seek a better temple, we seek a better sabbath. A rest that lasts forever. We partake of the Lords supper. The bread and the wine is but a shadow of the real. The Real is invisible. The shadow is visible We partake of baptism, the water has no healing properties, the water is a symbol of the invisible reality. If you want to observe the seventh day as a symbol of your faith in resting from your own works and finding righteousness by faith in Christ death and resurrection then do so. God will only accept it if it is in faith however. But if you condemn your brother for thinking in more real terms of resting in Christ then you are not in faith and your sabbath keeping is not accepted. Offering gifts of religious service to the Lord whether it is sabbath keeping or feast keeping is between you and God. Only remember the saying "Hear O Israel" and do not apply what laws God commanded the Israelites to observe to all gentiles which were never commanded to keep such ordinances. There is more said about circumcision being an everlasting command than there is sabbath and yet no one contends for it becuase of the clear teaching in Acts when the apostles met to discuss this issue about the gentiles that were coming to the Lord needing to be circumcized, and all the OT verses were being used to declare it as an everlasting commandment, and the Holy Spirit said that the gentiles did not need to be concerned with circumcision. Now if you are Jew, there may be a good reason for questioning whether you should be circumcised but all controversy has ended on whether a gentile must be circumcised. So it is with sabbath keeping. You do it as a law, a commandment, then do it with faith, another gentile that never has kept sabbath in his life gets saved throught faith in Christ, has no such commandment in the New Testament, and unless you would join company with the Judaizers that Christ condemened then I suggest you leave the gentile converts alone and preach Jesus and Him crucified. God Bless you in your study of His word. |

157 | Hebrews 6:6 explained | Hebrews | Scribe | 42095
In Context.... Heb 6:1 ¶ Therefore leaving the principles of the doctrine of Christ, let us go on unto perfection; not laying again the foundation of repentance from dead works, and of faith toward God, Of the doctrine of baptisms, and of laying on of hands, and of resurrection of the dead, and of eternal judgment. And this will we do, if God permit. For it is impossible for those who were once enlightened, and have tasted of the heavenly gift, and were made partakers of the Holy Ghost, And have tasted the good word of God, and the powers of the world to come, If they shall fall away, to renew them again unto repentance; seeing they crucify to themselves the Son of God afresh, and put him to an open shame. For the earth which drinketh in the rain that cometh oft upon it, and bringeth forth herbs meet for them by whom it is dressed, receiveth blessing from God: But that which beareth thorns and briers is rejected, and is nigh unto cursing; whose end is to be burned. But, beloved, we are persuaded better things of you, and things that accompany salvation, though we thus speak. The subject matter.... going on beyond constant wranglings over certain... fundamental doctrines. Think about it like this.. "If a person who has known the Lord and then turns from the holy commandments to teach a false doctrine that you can sin with the body but still be innocent in the spirit and other such gnosticism, there is no use trying to convince that person of how the cross of Christ is suficient to remove their sins, for they are preaching the cross of Christ but using it as an excuse for sin. Saying that they can keep sinning and still go to heaven. This is treating the Cross of Christ as liscense to sin rather than a victory over sin. What can you do with this kind of teaching and person other than let them know they are not going to heaven. It is impossible to renew them to repentance by preaching the cross , they are polluting the message of the cross. They cannot be brought to repentance as other sinners because they are using the very answer for sin and that which produces godly sorrow as an excuse to sin. "If they shall fall away, to renew them again unto repentance; seeing they crucify to themselves the Son of God afresh, and put him to an open shame" so they propagate that the cross grants them forgiveness while they continue in their sin. Heb 6:7 For the earth which drinketh in the rain that cometh oft upon it, and bringeth forth herbs meet for them by whom it is dressed, receiveth blessing from God: Heb 6:8 But that which beareth thorns and briers is rejected, and is nigh unto cursing; whose end is to be burned. They are bringing forth the wrong fruit. They are living lives that declare they are bad trees. Heb 6:9 ¶ But, beloved, we are persuaded better things of you, and things that accompany salvation, though we thus speak. So from this verse we see that the saints do not have to fear this condition because sound doctrine will keep them from such a hineous act as willful sinful living while claiming freedom in the cross. Were these false brethren ever christian? .....and were made partakers of the Holy Ghost, And have tasted the good word of God, and the powers of the world to come, I find it too far of a stretch to say a person was made a partaker of the Holy Ghost and then claim he was never a christian. I will have to conclude that based on this text they are backslidden and they are in danger of hell fire. Now Can they be saved? Yes It does not say they can never be saved, It does not say they will never repent it says... It is impossible for you through doctrine listed in Verse 1 to to renew them again unto repentance;.. you have to shake off the dust and move on they are contradicting and blaspheming themselves claiming the crucifixtion of Christ as a liscense to be able to sin. You should give them over to satan for the destruction of the flesh. If in times of misery they come back to the Lord and renounce their false doctrine that they can sin willfully in this life and only lose a few rewards in the next then they can be saved and they can repent. But you are not going to be able to convince them with words and doctrine (verse 1) You will have to turn them over to satan. That is my opinion. I have been wrong before :) |

158 | death, being with Jesus -verse? | 2 Corinthians | Scribe | 42075
Yet there is a big (MAJOR) difference between the girl healed, and Lazarus and anyothers that are raised from the dead in the Bible and that of the resurrection of our Body latter in the last day that raising of the damsel is more like a healing, she still dies later, as does Lazuras. Where did their spirits go? we do not know there is no mention of them testifying about a "white light" or of strolling through "flowers of gold" or of pleading with God not to have to go back. :) It seems they are quite happy and thankful to return. So it is more likely in those cases that they may have been unconscience. But we don't really know. We do know that when we die, we go to be with the Lord. |

160 | did adam and Eve ever get forgiveness? | Matthew | Scribe | 42009
Well actually they did confess their sins. Just read the account. God asks what have you done and Adam says he ate the fruit. Adam said I was afraid and hid myself. The woman said I was beguiled and I did eat. They were not passing blame in my opinion. I know that is commonly preached but I never saw it from the first time I heard it to date. They are being straight forward and honest in their confession. They are telling God exactly what they did. If they had not of done that or if they were unwilling to accept blame and deny that they had done anything wrong they would not have recieved a covering for their sin.
