121 | Freeze-dried Salvation? | John 15:6 | tj57h@cs.com | 88460
”Is salvation like a freeze-dried fruitcake, lasting indefinitely without spoilage or must those who seek for eternal life with God constantly discipline themselves to ensure they are faithful until death? If they must discipline themselves, how do they do that by belief? Is there an expectation that they will be disciplined miraculously or must conscious decisions be made to control their own behavior?” (Peter) Salvation (Christ our life) is an incorruptible seed! I believe incorruptible would mean no spoilage! (Col) Christ is our new life and he leads us by his Spirit and we learn through him, we live and move and have our being in him. God's had is not short that he cannot discipline us, is it? His alive and has the ability to speak and hear. He is a lot more power than us. He disciplines us as sons! Heb 12:6 For whom the Lord loveth he chasteneth, and scourgeth every son whom he receiveth. 7 If ye endure chastening, God dealeth with you as with sons; for what son is he whom the father chasteneth not? 8 But if ye be without chastisement, whereof all are partakers, then are ye bastards, and not sons. Jesus Christ IS our salvation. Above statements are directly from scripture, if you have problems finding them I will find them for you if you need. Love, Tim |

124 | WHAT MADE LOT A RIGHTIOUS MAN? | 1 Cor 6:9 | tj57h@cs.com | 88454
One account of adultery in my mind will not damn me to hell you know it and I know it. It does not make me and adulter. My identity is not the old man it is CHRIST I am a Christ person! Not an immoral, nor idolater, nor adulterers, nor homosexuals, nor thieves, nor the greedy, nor drunkard, nor reveiler, nor robber. As David was not an adulter or murderer (He committed adultery and murdered) Samson committed suicide, Lot got drunk and had sex with his daughters, Moses murdered, and Abraham lied twice. These men were not immoral, nor idolater, nor adulterers, nor homosexuals, nor theives, nor the greedy, nor drunkard, nor reveiler, nor robber. This was not their LIFESTYLE. (Can these sins, indicated above, be compatible with the "fruits and faith"?) Yes, because the bible says they were MEN OF FAITH Heb 11:39 And these all, having obtained a good report through faith Those acts as we follow these men in the scriptures were not without chastisement. Sure these things will disrupt the natural outpouring of grace in our lives through fruits and gifts, but does not condemn us to hell. Your sin or sins after you became born again have not condemned YOU to hell, nor have mine! Praise God I have the leading of the Spirit and do not desire to do these things! HOW DO YOU ACCOUNT FOR HEB 11 Sir, HOW CAN THEY BE IN RIGHTSTANDING WITH GOD????? ONLY BY FAITH!!!!! NOT BY WORKS!!!!! THIS SCRIPTURE BELOW IS FUNDEMENTAL TO OUR SPIRITUAL GROWTH IF WE DO NOT BELIEVE IT OR GROWTH IS STUNTED, I GUESS THIS WOULD ACCOUNT FOR THE LACK OF POWER AND VICTORY IN THE AMERICAN ORGINAZED CHURCH: Rom 4:2 For if Abraham were justified by works, he hath whereof to glory; but not before God. 3 For what saith the scripture? Abraham believed God, and it was counted unto him for righteousness. 4 Now to him that worketh is the reward not reckoned of grace, but of debt. 5 But to him that worketh not, but believeth on him that justifieth the ungodly, his faith is counted for righteousness. 6 Even as David also describeth the blessedness of the man, unto whom God imputeth righteousness without works, 7 Saying, Blessed are they whose iniquities are forgiven, and whose sins are covered. 8 Blessed is the man to whom the Lord will not impute sin. And then preached from the pulpits in America comes WORKS!!!!! (LAW) (Following outward regulations and oridences) Gal 5:4 Christ is become of no effect unto you, whosoever of you are justified by the law; ye are fallen from grace. If you can come to understand these scriptures above, it explains Heb. 11 and settles the debate. With Love, Tim |

Let us not forget when we are born again, we get the fruit of faith, Gift of faith and we live by the "faith of Christ" Gal 2:20 I am crucified with Christ: nevertheless I live; yet not I, but Christ liveth in me: and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by the FAITH OF THE SON of God, who loved me, and gave himself for me. As fot the origional question Romans 10:9 and 10 faith cometh by hearing, then we believe in our hearts, confess with our mouths and are regenerated. Hearing, faith, confession, regeneration. 129 | One example of loosing salvation NT | Luke 8:13 | tj57h@cs.com | 88400
I asked for an example in new testement scripture you provided none. Salvation and rightiousness are by faith, and kept by faith thay are imputed and free gifts. Works does not get nor keep salvation. A lost person hears the word, believes in his hesrt and confesses the death burrial and resurection of Jesus Christ and becomes saved, born again. Hwe has passed from condemnation in his OLD condemned life in death to a new life in Christ, for Christ is our life, We get the fruit of faith and the gift of faith through him indewelling. Gal 2:20 I am crucified with Christ: nevertheless I live; yet not I, but Christ liveth in me: and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by the faith OF the Son of God, who loved me, and gave himself for me. If christ lives in the believer, how can he possibly lose faith? We live by the faith of Christ. He is the believer in us. WE DO NOT SAVE OURSELVES BY OUR WORKS, CHRIST SAVES US AND THE HOLY SPIRIT SEALS US UNTILL THAT DAY! IT IS A FREE GIFT! Only a person who has believed in vain can forsake Christ:1Co 15:2 By which also ye are saved, if ye keep in memory what I preached unto you, unless ye have believed in vain. If a person works for salvation he has fallen from grace:Click Verse for Commentary Notes Ga 5:4 Christ is become of no effect unto you, whosoever of you are justified by the law; ye are fallen from grace. This does not mean you have become eternally condemned to hell it means his grace is shut off like a valve to be a living benefit to you, this explanes the lack of power and victory in the orginazed Church. I have an example of people who sined that were born again and died because of thier sin:Acts 5:1 But a certain man named Ananias, with Sapphira his wife, sold a possession, 2 And kept back part of the price, his wife also being privy to it, and brought a certain part, and laid it at the apostles' feet. 3 But Peter said, Ananias, why hath Satan filled thine heart to lie to the Holy Ghost, and to keep back part of the price of the land? 4 Whiles it remained, was it not thine own? and after it was sold, was it not in thine own power? why hast thou conceived this thing in thine heart? thou hast not lied unto men, but unto God. 5 And Ananias hearing these words fell down, and gave up the ghost: and great fear came on all them that heard these things. 6 And the young men arose, wound him up, and carried him out, and buried him. 7 And it was about the space of three hours after, when his wife, not knowing what was done, came in. 8 And Peter answered unto her, Tell me whether ye sold the land for so much? And she said, Yea, for so much. 9 Then Peter said unto her, How is it that ye have agreed together to tempt the Spirit of the Lord? behold, the feet of them which have buried thy husband are at the door, and shall carry thee out. 10 Then fell she down straightway at his feet, and yielded up the ghost: and the young men came in, and found her dead, and, carrying her forth, buried her by her husband. Does not say they went to HELL. And those people who do not confess thier sin before they take comunion they got sick and died, Does not say they went to hell. 1cor 11:27 Wherefore whosoever shall eat this bread, and drink this cup of the Lord, unworthily, shall be guilty of the body and blood of the Lord. 28 But let a man examine himself, and so let him eat of that bread, and drink of that cup. 29 For he that eateth and drinketh unworthily, eateth and drinketh damnation (judgement or chastisement, not eternal damnation in hell) to himself, not discerning the Lord's body. 30 For this cause many are weak and sickly among you, and many sleep. 31 For if we would judge ourselves, we should not be judged. 32 But when we are judged, we are chastened of the Lord, that we should not be condemned with the world. love, Tim Let me know when you come up with that example of a person in the New Testment that was born again and got eternally damned to hell, would you please! |

We are in rightstanding with God by faith not works! The fact is born again people are held very highly accountable to the Father for their disobedience, but they have the liberty to sin, shouldn't, but do. If we commit a sin he is faithful and just to forgive us. 1 John I believe. WE HAVE A LIVING RELATIONSHIP WITH GOD HE WILL BRING US AROUND IF WE GET CARRIED AWAY! I hope this has helped! Love Tim |

139 | OSAS? | Gal 5:4 | tj57h@cs.com | 88374
I am only concerned with the attitude that this doctrine is presented with. Sometimes is is with an arogance that I can do what I want and get away with it. This is not true we have the liberty to sin, but it always has consequences, our Father will hold us accountable. Those who do not believe you are saved and kept saved by faith, by default believe that it is by their works they are saved, and this is a works doctrine and those who practice salvation by works are "fallen from grace" (Gal 5:4 Christ is become of no effect unto you, whosoever of you are justified by the law (Works based religon); ye are fallen from grace. 5 For we through the Spirit wait for the hope of righteousness by faith) not menaning lost if they are born again, but they are short circuiting the grace of God that wants to flow through them. 140 | Can a believer lose his salvation? | Luke 8:13 | tj57h@cs.com | 88366
Sir, I admire you method of coming to your conclusions and agree with your reservations about the first man you met proclaiming his salvation. The light heartedness of those who proclaim OSAS is disturbing; if he is born again God is going to deal with him severely, because he is a son. More than likely he is not, he may believe in vain and not in his heart unto salvation.1Co 15:2 By which also ye are saved, if ye keep in memory what I preached unto you, unless ye have believed in vain. He centrally sounds lost and has some head knowledge about the Bible. Based on these scriptures I believe if you are truly born again NOT OF CORRUPTABLE SEED, I will never leave you nor forsake you, nothing will separate you from the love of God, ETERNAL LIFE, you are saved by faith not by works least any should boast it is the gift of God NOT OF YOURSELVES! Eph 2:8 For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: 9 Not of works, lest any man should boast. I call these absolute scriptures; crystal clear a true son of God cannot loose his salvation. I will no address your scriptures: Gal 1:6-8 Judisizers came in and preached you must work the law to be saved and this impeded the Galatians in there Spiritual walk, they were not lost. Heb 10:26-31 We all have "sined willfully" and if we were to take this scripture as it seems to say we all would have fallen. If a Jew was to reject the truth of Jesus’ sacrifice there is no other sacrifice to deal with sin's, this Jew would keep on sinning. Paul is talking to the Hebrew church (Jews) and is talking in reference to other sacrifices bulls and goats. If we sin willfully our Father who is a very loving and compassionate father WILL CORRECT US he does have that ability. 2 Pet. 2:20-22 If we are truly born again we are a son, our identity is in Christ, we are not a dog. Walking contrary to Gods will is a very rough road though and your life in many respects would be worse than it was before, but it does not say they are eternally dammed to hell. Matt 13:21 The context of this verse is: And ye shall be hated of all men for my name's sake: but he that endureth to the end shall be saved. FROM THE HATED ACTIONS THAT THESE MEN INFLICT UPON US WE SHALL BE SAVED FROM! Matt 13:21 This person has not received salvation by hearing the word, believing in his heart, and confessing with his moth the Lord Jesus Rom 10:9 and 10. He has believed in vain:1Co 15:2. Rom 11:20-23if one was to be broken off from God I believe since the life sap is severed he would be dead not eternally dammed to hell. 2 Pet 2:15 These people are false prophets lost Judasizers not believers. Jude 21 I have no Idea were you get the idea that someone has lost their salvation from this verse. Heb 3:6 Jesus saves us it is a free gift, I am not saving myself that would be salvation I am earning. It is by faith. 1Tim 4:1 I never said believers could not be deceived or get themselves into bondage, no were does it say these people are dammed to eternity in hell. If we have to earn it to keep it is not a free gift it is a debt and we can boast, after all we earned it. The price was paid; I believe it, that settles it. Love Tim |
