NASB | 1 Peter 4:11 Whoever speaks, is to do so as one who is speaking the utterances of God; whoever serves is to do so as one who is serving by the strength which God supplies; so that in all things God may be glorified through Jesus Christ, to whom belongs the glory and dominion forever and ever. Amen. |
AMPLIFIED 2015 | 1 Peter 4:11 Whoever speaks [to the congregation], is to do so as one who speaks the oracles (utterances, the very words) of God. Whoever serves [the congregation] is to do so as one who serves by the strength which God [abundantly] supplies, so that in all things God may be glorified [honored and magnified] through Jesus Christ, to whom belongs the glory and dominion forever and ever. Amen. |
Bible Question:
Why do people use words to represent the actual words of scripture? Example We asy accept Jesus, when we mean receive Jesus. Is this not a poor choice of words? I receive a gift, and accept my pay check. Is it not better to use the words in Scripture? Justme |
Bible Answer: If any man speak let him speak the oracles of God. 1Pe 4:11 If any man speak, let him speak as the oracles of God; if any man minister, let him do it as of the ability which God giveth amen Tim |
