I've listened to multitudes of sermons (I'm Bapist) regarding "once saved, always saved" but I can not find this in the Bible in those terms...other than talking about being sealed. Is this what the reference is about? | ||||||

Greetings, As some of the others have said, the phrase "Once saved, always saved" isn't found in the Bible. However, that doesn't invalidate the teaching. The term "Trinity" isn't in the Bible, yet the teaching is there. The Term "homosexuality" isn't in the Bible, yet the act is still described as being wrong in the Bible. So this is not something unique. There are a variety of passages that support this. The first is Romans 8. Another is 1 Peter 1:3-9, as well as John 3. quvmoh |

Hi Quvmoh: Amen, all very good references. My favorite though, is the whole of John ch 17. What an awesome prayer! We can be certain that if the Father was to honor and answer a prayer, it would indeed be one prayed by His beloved Son, "The Righteous One", Jesus! God bless John |
