"Personally I am lead by the Holy Spirit concerning the Word. Anyone who is sincere concerning their study, and adheres to 2 Timothy 2:15 can discern the difference." No more than one can "prove" the absolute truths therein; none can prove their version inspired. "Seek and ye shall find." I have found, as I stated, that the NIV and KJV are INSPIRED TRANSLATIONS. I have also found, as stated, that there are some "so called" translations, which are no more than tools of the enemy. Why this statement seems to have enraged some, is beyond me. Perhaps they have not taken the interest in scrutinizing their translation, as I have mine. Though I have studied scripture for over 30 yrs, I am not a scholar, nor did I document the many paths and countless hours, weeks, months and years it took me to reach my conclusion. Thus, the best I can tell you BradK, is that if you too will diligently seek what scripture promises, you too will receive what scripture promises. But you must first adhere to 2 Timothy 2:15. Strong meat belongeth to them that are of full age, even those who by reason of use have their senses exercised to discern both good and evil. To develop Spiritual discernment, one must first: Study to show thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth. But shun profane and vain babblings: for they will increase unto more ungodliness. 2Ti 2:15 – 16 GB |
