Hi Questioner, I am not a studier of world religions and am not the one to answer your question here. I have not the foggiest idea of what PBUH means after Abraham, and I can only surmise that the Quran is the Koran. If I need to know this information please advise. The only reason that I am writing, is that I personally am a capitalizer of Deity in the Bible. I believe that it gives glory to God and points out as well our humanity in contrast. I would only like to point out that the Bible speaks of one Prophet, Priest, and King and that is the Lord Jesus Christ. When you do find out the "prophet Abraham's" beliefs make sure that you know that he was only a man; although a very important man in biblical history. Again, the scriptures tell us Matthew 23, that we have only one Teacher, Father, and Leader, and we are all brothers. And we have to watch what we do and say, Mt 23:3. I am not a believer in polytheism either. |

Dear Respondent, PBUH means peace be upon him and one uses that whenever calling the name of the dead. The proper spelling for the Quran is as I wrote it. the Koran is incorrect. All of the teachers that G-D sent to us are prophets. The scriptures have been rewritten and translated so much that no one knows what the original ones acutally said. The Old Testament is closer in content to the Torah and the Quran which are almost identical in every way. The New Testament however, is very confusing and often refutes itself and so I feel must be discounted as the word of G-D and included among the histories of other people living in that era. As for polytheism, anyone who gives partners to the almighty is believing in more than one G-D for G-D had no partners or progeny. |

IM a teacher of the bible which is Gods word, but i am not a prophet in the fullest sense of the word, just a teacher. You struggle at the scriptures yourself because they have been translated vary well, and still contain what God wants us to know. Their are to date 24,334 copys of the old testament and new , which when transliterated mean exactly what we read today. The septuigent was written 200 years before Christ and still says the same thing in greek. The quran is no where near what our old testament is, it has no prophetic value, and has many mistakes, such as Jesus being a slave (sura chapter) 43:59 . then in chapter 4:172 says that Jesus is not a slave. The quran says to chek it out with the bible chapter 5:44-49 and 10:95 yor quran states that only Jews mistranslate bible, chapter 2:75-79 and 4:46 .Im not a Jew, muhamad had sin 48:2 and 40.55 and 42:5 come and be saved by the one true God our lord Jesus Christ whom had no sin sura 3:46. love in Christ's name .RCSCROLL P.S. Abraham is a hebrew Ishmael would be a philistine or muslim.

I do believe that you believe the Bible to be G-D's word and parts of it are. I respect your right to your opinion but I don't agree with it. If you read my response again you will see that I said the Torah and the Quran are almost identical but the Old Testament is the only one that in any way resembles those Holy Books. Of course we will be judged by the book we follow so I hope that we will all live our beliefs to a T. I have seen too many professed Christians who were anything but and unfortunately the churches are still largeley segregated. Attend a Mosque and experience the brotherhood and know unconditional love and respect. I challenge you to explore Islam if you dare.

Questioner, are you a Muslim? If so, then I challenge you to explore the Gospel of Jesus Christ! Attend a church and ask Jesus into your heart. Then you will be filled with joy and know that there is a 'security' for your soul! You have happened upon the Study Bible Forum, Questioner. We believe that Jesus was the Son of God and that He is the only Truth and Way to God. If you do not believe this, then I would challenge you to explore Christianity if you dare. Please check into Christianity! You will never regret it.. If you continue to take part in this Study Bible Forum, then I would advise you to 'read' the posts instead of 'writing' posts, since this is a "Christian" Study Bible Forum and we take the Bible very seriously. We will also refute any post that in any way promotes the false religion of Islam. Nolan |
