Hi With all this hype going on about the book and Movie Left Behind God has really laid it upon my heart to find out what the bible really says about it and see if human error has played a part in the translation and caused it to be misleading if you have any verses that pertain to the tribulation please feel free to let me know | ||||||

Greeting, poet; Not to put too fine a point on it, but who cares? God will get it right and I'm confident that we'll all be surprised one way or another. "Left Behind" is fiction; enjoy it for that. Jesus said to go and make disciples; he didn't tell anyone to sit around and speculate about how or when he would return. People who think they have it all figured are little scary. Hello Steve (aka Indiana Jones) Let me be the first to tell you when Jesus returns, but first Luke 21:28 says, that when these things begin to come to pass, then LOOK up, and lift your heads; for YOUR redemption draweth nigh, KJV. So you're right, we are not to be sitting around, but looking up, for Jesus return, and will this take place? Matt. 24:31 - "And he shall send his angels with a GREAT sound of a TRUMPET, now does that sound like we will be SURPRISED? I'm not debating your response, I'm quoating scripture, and it says when we hear the sound of the trumpet, that WILL be the TIME! So lets go make disciples (while we're looking up). May OUR God bless you real good Steve! |

Hi, Heisthe1; Thanks for the note. The trumpet will be enough notice for me. And I'm sure I'll be surprised if I'm still alive when it happens. In the meantime, I'll have to try to strike a balance between looking up and looking elsewhere - kinda hard to drive to church when you're looking up. ;-) Peace and grace, Steve aka Indiana Jones |
