King James himself did not personally translate nor was he involved in the process of translation of the King James Bible. He no more translated the Bible than did the Pope himself grab a paint brush and get up on the scaffold alongside the artist who painted the Sistine Chapel. | ||||||

Oh, I thought the Pope painted the Sistine Chapel! :) You mean he didnt??? I knew KJ didn't translate the Bible, in fact one of the comments one of the men made in the book was can't God use a foolish or evil man to bring about his ways? |

Jumping Jehosophat, Norrie, are you ever mixed up! :-) Everybody knows that King James made a deal with the Pope. The Pope agreed to translate the Bible for King James if King James would paint the Sistine Chapel. It gave them both something to do and, as history has shown, it turned out pretty good. --Hank | ||||||
