You said the following, “Even Jesus went without experiencing hunger;” Who is right, you or, Matthew 4:2 And when he had fasted forty days and forty nights, he was afterward an hungred. As for sickness, or what ever tag you would like to put on it, the reason we get sick is because we are still at home in these bodies of death and sin is still in the world and we are still subject to the results of sin while residing in these bodies. Romans 7:24 O wretched man that I am! who shall deliver me from the body of this death? None of us will have a perfect bill of health until we are separated from these bodies of corruption. How many of the people, maintaining the same prospective that you are trying convince this forum of, celebrated their 200th birthday this year and are a picture of health? CDBJ, to continue... I agree we get sick; nevertheless, it is not God’s desire that we are sick and that is why healing is made available to us. Allow me to clarify that I am not saying we never get sick or that we are totally free from it. I am saying that God intends and desires us to be in good physical health and, along with forgiveness (spiritual good health), has provided bodily, mental, and emotional healing. In addition, I am not trying to convince anyone of anything. If that was your perception of my post, I apologize for the misunderstanding. I am only sharing what I believe God has shown me. One final note: Because no one is a picture of health and celebrating their 200th birthday does not mean that healing and health is not God’s desire for us (Jer 29:11; 3 John 2). I appreciate your objections and hope no offense has been taken. |

I have seen so many with that misunderstanding about healing on the forum that it’s making me sick! You suggest the following. I agree we get sick; nevertheless, it is not God’s desire that we are sick and that is why healing is made available to us. God can heal everyone that He desires to heal and He doesn’t need someone as an instrument to do it! Tell your unconvincing story to Billy Graham, as well as millions of other Christians who trust all that the Lord wills for their life. What you are telling me is that you believe in God you just don’t believe God. Romans 8:28 And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose. 1 Thes. 5:18 In every thing give thanks: for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus concerning you. The Lord has given this great nation of believers some of the greatest healers in the world they call themselves doctors! The Lord has blessed us with a great variety of them as well, and the opportunity for us to pray that He will help and intercede in times of need.
