1 | Is God a racist? | Deut 17:15 | folawise | 129998
Is God a racist? Please I ask? Can he not use whoever he decides to use or send without discrimination or tribalism? What does Jesus and Moses have in common in thier way of life. Deut17:15 refers to a king while 18:15 refers to a prophet, could they be thesame? Be careful not to condemn who the Lord has not condemed. Please i need answers, please. |

2 | Is God a racist? | Deut 17:15 | BradK | 130004
folawise, No, God is not a racist, nor can He be. It is not one of His attributes. Consider Exodus 15:11: "Who among the gods is like you, O LORD? Who is like you— majestic in holiness, awesome in glory, working wonders?" God is solitary in His being- He is self existant. He is also sovereign as Psalm 115:3 tells us: "But our God is in the heavens; He does whatever He pleases." Possibly you could clarify or expand your question and be a little more specific? I hope this helps. Speaking the Truth in Love, BradK |

3 | John1:21-25 | Deut 17:15 | folawise | 130017
Thank you BradK. It was my quest about John1:21-25 that led to the question. John was asked about three personalities, Elias, Messiah and That Prophet. Majority wants to believe they must be jews and explain every scripture in that light. (You see whatever you want to see in the scripture) But God has created all. black white red and all. He has plan for all and has sent Prophets from among all. Why do we take only the jews to be the only true and pure race. i smell bigotry, I smell the devil, I smell the last day, The fear of God grips my heart and i yearn for the truth. So i ask and still ask. Is God a racist? Why is Mohammed left out of the picture, like he is a devil sent or is he? Have you read the quran? love
4 | John1:21-25 | Deut 17:15 | BradK | 130023
folawise, Scripture makes clear that the Jews are God's favored people (nation) as Deut. 7:6 tells us: "For you are a holy people to the Lord your God; the Lord your God has chosen you to be a people for His own possession out of all the peoples who are on the face of the earth." In regards to who "That Prophet" is- this is a direct reference to Deut. 18:15, which says "The Lord your God will raise up for you a prophet like me from among you, from your countrymen, you shall listen to him." Mohammed is nowhere in the picture as he would not, and did not meet the Biblical standards of a prophet (Deut. 18:20-22)! Incidentally, before we continue too deep, what is your background? It would be helpful to know so that I have a point of reference, i.e. do you believe that the Bible is God's inspired, infallible Word? Do you believe that Jesus is God in the flesh? Are you a Muslim? The bottom line is this: Jesus Christ is THE WAY, THE TRUTH, and THE LIFE- for all! "And there is salvation in no one else; for there is no other name under heaven that has been given among men by which we must be saved." Speaking the Truth in Love, BradK |

5 | Did i say you should call me GOD?' | Deut 17:15 | folawise | 130112
Bradk, Thank you. I was born into a devout Christian home. My Father a baptist deacon, my mother an evagelist. I gave my life to Christ in my high school.I love to study and i am full of questions. Along the line, I did not find reasonable answers to my questions in the bible. Naturally i am not an easily fooled person. In all that i do I always look for proofs. Spiritually i always want to be sure God is there. Reasonably, I must be able to explain myself and also make others see beyond reasonable doubt. Because i believe the power to reason is given to man and we will give account of how it is being used. I also believe God will make the issue of our salvation and our eternity with Him to be very clear and not vague so no man will be able to say it is not evident. The bible if it must be infallible must be able to stand the test of time. Spiritually, physically and scientifically. To these i have doubt. I am not a muslim yet. I have been studying their book and it makes much sense to me. Now i have come to a crossroad and i need proofs that truly the bible is the infallible word of God. One thing you must know is that i love the Lord. I love Jesus Christ. I believe he is coming back. I don't want him to come and be dissapointed in me. And say that: 'Did i say you should call me GOD?'
