Bible Question: Dear Hank, I try not to be myopic. He that is in you is greater than he that is in the world. It will be wrong for you to conclude on an issue just because you are told . You should always look out out for proof. And confirm the truth. Seek and hold on to that which is true. Have you confirmed of a truth that the koran is a book of paganism. If you have read it and then draw that conclusion, your conclusion will be authentic, right now it is just an opinion. I respect it anyhow. But i like to authentically proof them wrong and stand tall for Christ. Not standing with a bag of questions hanging over my head. So many things are hapening out there and you must not sit down in your little corner believing that all is well. If you are a father your kids will begin to ask questions. Have you taken your time to study the origin of the bible. Who put the books together and when. Or do you think that is not relevant to your salvation. In as much as we all believe it did not drop from heaven we don't bother to find out how we came about it. You shouldn't be overconfident of your self. For the scriptures says.... Let him that thinketh he stands take heed lest he falls. Have you also realised that in the communion of the saints there are diversity in beliefs and doctrines so which of the communion of the saints should i seek conusel? I will read the materials you suggested to me and visit those sites. thank you very much. |
Bible Answer: Folawise: It's good to hear that you plan to examine "The New Evidence That Demands a Verdict" by Josh McDowell. Let us know whether you found it helpful. I won't comment on the rest of your question/note, but I do wish you well. --Hank |
