Ray Yes Jesus did enter the temple on His first coming but it was not in the majesty described in Rev 21:22 where Jesus is the Temple! As I said Malachi was fulfilled but I think there is more yet to come. Oh the splendor of it all! EdB |

2 | Bible Observation How to's | 2 Tim 2:15 | Ray | 109183 | ||
Hi EdB, Yes, there is more splendor yet to come. But look also at the splendor of John 2:12-22. John 2:19-22, "Jesus answered and said to them, "Destroy this temple, and in three days I will raise it up." The Jews therefore said, "It took us forty-six years to build this temple, and will (You) raise it up in three days?" 21 But He was speaking of the temple of His body. 22 When therefore He was raised from the dead, His disciples remembered that He said this; and they believed the Scripture, and the word which Jesus/ had spoken." Zeal for His house consumed Him. From the heart, Ray |

Ray This is an example of God's wonder and splendor. We can see fulfillment in Malachi's prophecy past, present and future. Jesus came to His Temple, Jesus lives in His Temple, and Jesus will come to His Temple. If we look closely we can see the triune deity of God. God's dwelling the temple, Holy spirit's dwelling the (we are the temple of the Holy Spirit) and Christ the Temple of Rev 21 Have a blessed and wonderful day! EdB |

Hi EdB, Good thoughts there. I appreciate the time we've had thinking of these things. Personally, I don't see the need to capitalize the word "temple", but perhaps we can talk about that in a Revelation 21:22 thread. You have a blessed day also. It is always good to see the sun shine here in Michigan. From the heart, Ray |
