The church (not the Bible) is the Bulwark and the Pillar of Truth: 1Timothy 3:15 The church (not the people) is the Bulwark and the Pillar of Truth: 1Timothy 3:15 Jesus deposited his faith in the Catholic Church (Matt. 16:18)...only HE LEFT US HIS ROMAN CATHOLIC CHURCH SO WE CAN BE GUIDED the RIGHT WAY.. POPE AND AUTHORITY Christ gave Pope Peter alone the "keys of the kingdom" (Matt. 16:19) and promised that Peter’s decisions would be binding in heaven. He also gave similar power to the other apostles (Catholic Bishops) (Matt. 18:18), but only Peter was given the keys, symbols of his authority to rule the Church on earth in Jesus’ absence. Jesus promised he would not leave us orphans (John 14:18) but would send the Holy Spirit to guide and protect us (John 15:26). HE GUARANTEED THE HOLY SPIRIT ONLY TO HIS ROMAN CATHOLIC CHURCH Jesus did not guarantee The Holy Spirit to all......IF HE DID ....WHAT IS THE REASON FOR OVER 33,000 DENOMINATIONS These never ending multiplications of Protestant Churches are Satan’s plan not God. The Church has remained ONE, HOLY, CATHOLIC, and APOSTOLIC—not through man’s effort, but because God preserves the Church he established (Matt. 16:18, 28:20). JESUS LEFT US A SHEPHERD (now we call The Pope) “And the sheep I have, which are not of this fold: them also I must bring, and they shall hear my voice; and there shall be one fold and one shepherd” John 10:16 The main reason for all the splits in Protestantism is the false doctrine of individual interpretation of the Bible, every person who does this thinks they are their own Pope. He gave the sacraments to heal, feed, and strengthen us. The seven sacraments — baptism, the Eucharist, penance (also called reconciliation or confession), confirmation, holy orders, matrimony, and the anointing of the sick—are not just symbols. They are signs that actually convey God’s grace and love. The sacraments were foreshadowed in the Old Testament by things that did not actually convey grace but merely symbolized it circumcision, for example, prefigured baptism, and the Passover meal prefigured the Eucharist. When Christ came, he did not do away with symbols of God’s grace. He super naturalized them, energizing them with grace. He made them more than symbols. CHRISTIANITY IS NOT ME and JESUS and THE BIBLE ALONE CHRISTIANITY IS NOT ME and THE BIBLE ALONE CHRISTIANITY IS NOT AN INDIVIDUALISTIC FAITH CHRISTIANITY IS NOT SELFISH FAITH CHRISTIANITY IS NOT A BURGER KING FAITH ”have it your way Christianity” is not biblical CHRISTIANITY IS FAMILY OF GOD --- TO PROTECT HIS TEACHING FROM THE HERETICS --- The role of APOSTOLIC SUCCESSION in preserving true doctrine is illustrated in the Bible. http://www.geocities.com/junmeskie/Apostolic.html Jesus deposited his faith in the Catholic Church (Matt. 16:18)...only Jesus promised, "I will build my Church and the gates of hell will not prevail against it" (Matt. 16:18). Meaning his church (Catholic) will never be destroyed by bad members and anti-Catholics until his return. FOR JESUS IS GOD with supernatural powers IF JESUS IS INFALLIBLE HIS CHURCH WILL ALSO BE INFALLIBLE NO DOUBT ABOUT IT! GOD BLESS Al Mescallado |

Equal Time Junmeskie: Please understand that this Note is not meant to offend you in any way. I quote from www.carm.org: 'It is apparent, that the Roman Church has added much to the scope of Christian doctrine that is not revealed in scripture. This is an issue that needs to be addressed. It is vital. 'The Protestant Church cites the Bible alone as the source of doctrinal knowledge. The Catholic church, on the other hand, cites the Bible and Tradition. Please consider the following. '". . .the Church, to whom the transmission and interpretation of Revelation is entrusted, ‘does not derive her certainty about all revealed truths from the holy Scriptures alone. Both Scripture and Tradition must be accepted and honored with equal sentiments of devotion and reverence'." (Catechism of the Catholic Church, paragraph 82.) 'Apparently, it is Tradition that is the source of doctrines which are clearly not taught in the Bible but which the Catholic Church still says are implicit within its text and elucidated through Apostolic Tradition. Some of them are as follows: The Mass, Penance, Veneration of Mary, Purgatory, Indulgences, the Priesthood, the Confessional, the Rosary, Venial and Mortal Sins, and statues in the Church. The issue is whether or not these teachings of the Roman Catholic Church are credible. Do they accurately represent Christianity? Can they be substantiated with the Bible? Do they contradict the Bible? 'This site (www.carm.org) attempts to examine the doctrines of Rome and compare them with the Bible to see if they are supported or contradicted by God’s Word. We know that all truth in God’s Christian Church comes from Him, through the Holy Spirit. It will not, therefore, be contradictory. Let us see what God’s written word says and compare it to the Unwritten Word which is the Roman Catholic Church’s term for Tradition.' ____________________ To read more go to: www.carm.org/catholic/intro.htm Grace to you, Kalos |

First we you must know the History and Origin of the Bible. Who put the 27 Books together added the Chapters and Verses? And canonized the Bible and called them inspired words of God. THE CHURCH CAME FIRST (Matt. 16:18) The Bible came out of the church What church existed before the Protestanism or Reformation? Most people at that time cannot read this is the reason Jesus commanded his apostles to “PREACH” not to WRITE - Matthew 28:19-20 "Ignorance of the Scriptures is ignorance of Christ " - St. Jerome "without history you are ignorant to the truth" - Jun Mescallado (not yet a Saint lol) God Bless Jun |
