I'm sorry, I thought you agreed with the website you were recommending. On the whole, I found their argument unconvincing. If I stay with the straightforward reading of Scripture it seems fairly simple to me. "those "in the know" " - is this an appeal to authority? There are a great many who have studied this passage in depth that do not agree with this. And the idea of Michael as the restrainer of 2 Thess 2 is not a majority view.
