1 | Who is the restrainer? | 2 Thess 2:7 | Searcher56 | 188034
God's day to you, InGodITrust, Is "withdrawn" the same as "taken out of the way" ... for the Bible says the latter? Notice this is single, not plural. Searcher |

3 | Please clarify............?? | 2 Thess 2:7 | Searcher56 | 188039
You said 'Thus whatever or whoever is "the restrainer" would naturally need to be ... "withdrawn."' - The Bible says "taken out of the way". Why the difference? Mark mentioned restrainers (plural) ... but the Bible make him singular. |

4 | Withdrawn or taken out of the way? | 2 Thess 2:7 | InGodITrust | 188041

5 | Withdrawn or taken out of the way? | 2 Thess 2:7 | Searcher56 | 188072
I think withdrawn is completely out of the way, like taking a chess piece off the board, and out of the way is like moving a pawn, so the queen can move.
6 | Withdrawn or taken out of the way? | 2 Thess 2:7 | mark d seyler | 188075
Hi Searcher, As I read the passage, its "becomes out the middle", so that would, to me, be more like the pawn being moved, out of the middle betwee the queen and the rest of the board. Love in Christ, Mark |
