1 | why order is different in scripture? | 1 Cor 12:27 | kalos | 12415 | ||
Nolan: I, too, disagree with Hanegraaff. After all, the Bible is not sufficient and needs to be supplemented by visions and revelations through modern apostles and prophets. I see nothing wrong with placing the church at the mercy of false prophets. We need not take the warnings of scripture (e.g. 2 Cor 11:13-15) literally. As for Hanegraaff, he must be the biggest idiot in the business. Every time he is quoted on the Forum, someone eagerly comes forth to denounce him as a troublemaker and as one whose theology and research methods are faulty. Now that that's settled, would anyone like to buy a bridge? --JVH0212 "In essentials unity, in nonessentials liberty, and in all things charity." |

Dear JVH0212, I'd definitely be willing to buy a bridge that would extend from me to you! Over the past several months I have grown by leaps and bounds in my training in apologetics, and I have found Hank Hanegraaff to be an honorable fellow that one should not dismiss lightly! And you have assuredly played a role in this apologetics training, that is for sure my friend! I write this to reassure you that your contributions to the Forum do not go unnoticed and that they are so very much appreciated! At times, I refrain from writing posts like this since I run out of superlatives to describe your contributions. I would begin to sound a bit redundant in my praise! :) I write this knowing that we already have a strong and stable bridge between us, but with a hand extended towards charis and any other Forum member who disagrees with Hank Hanegraaff, so that we may have peace, find common ground, and base our arguments on the issues instead of the one quoted or the 'presenter' of those issues. With this post, I hope to begin the building of a 'bridge' between those who generally agree with the interpretations of Hank Hanegraaff and those who do not. I humbly submit this post to the Forum.
