Greetings Tim, I can see where God could and would heal a blind man, broken bones. I don't know what words of knowledge are. Was it a complete blind man like Stevie Wonder who had no help from the medical society. Was the healing a result of laying on of hands? Was it instantaneous? And what about the broken bones, did the person go through the usual channels of a doctor setting the bones, a cast, six weeks with crutches? Or was it instantaneous? I must admit your comments are fascinating but I just wonder where the miracle lies in your explanation. Is it the laying on of hands by a person with this gift? Does the injured person have to go to the gifted person for the miracle? Was this a church service? I know the Holy Spirit impresses things on us as He guides us so what is the difference in your words of knowledge as you call it. Could you give us an example? I am really serious here. This really is an area I have never seen or known anyone who has seen it. Thanking you in advance for any details you might give. Your sister in Christ - Val |

Greetings Val! I am short on time, so allow me to be brief in my response. :) 1) The boy was born blind, and healed instantly after the laying on of hands. He was legally blind, but not totally blind before he was healed. 2) The bones were healed instantly after the laying on of hands. He did not have to have any treatment. 3) My understanding of a word of knowledge is that it involves God giving someone information that he had no other way of knowing. 4) The blind boy was healed at a service. The broken bones were healed at a camp in an emergency situation. The word of knowledge was very detailed and specific information given to me that I had no possible way of knowing. In one instance, I suddenly 'knew' that a family's daughter, who had been gone without contact for about a year, was going to call that day. When we arrived at their house, the phone was ringing. :) I have to run know my sister! Your Brother in Christ, Tim Moran |

Greetings Brother Tim: As to your response “1) The boy was born blind, and healed instantly after the laying on of hands. He was legally blind, but not totally blind before he was healed.” My response is where is the proof. Did a doctor examine him and confirm this instantaneous healing. As to your response “2) The bones were healed instantly after the laying on of hands. He did not have to have any treatment.” My response is where is the proof. Again what proof do you have that bones were broken and healed instantly since there are no X-rays. As to your response “The word of knowledge was very detailed and specific information given to me that I had no possible way of knowing. In one instance, I suddenly 'knew' that a family's daughter, who had been gone without contact for about a year, was going to call that day. When we arrived at their house, the phone was ringing. :)” My response: These kinds of things happen all the time but people don’t claim to have a gift. You see the burden on you is to prove what you are saying with logical proof. You don’t have it. Anyone could say things like this and without the xrays and doctors confirming the miracles its not believeable. That is my opinion. No offense. Lets move on since the thread has been closed. |
