Hi, Lookin... God's use of men isn't a measure of their usefulness or worthiness. In God's sovereignty, wisdom, and perfect love He makes use of all things for His glory and His elect's good. I've read Charles Finney's essays entitled "Systematic Theology." If you've read it, compare it with some real systematic theologies. There were some good ones before Finney's day and after. Doc, The point is God used him (depending on whose record of history one believes) in bringing sinners to Christ despite his alleged theological errors. No one said he was worthy. |
