1 | How does any Homosexual believe they are | Rom 1:19 | Megiddo | 91484
You asked: "Are we not all sinners? " No. I have no clue how you can honestly answer my question with a "no." I apoligize if I somehow responded in a way that angered you....I know Christ...you need not preach to me...I will however, stand against an assualt upon other human beings who "sin"- like being a homosexual is some kind of special sin that deserves more anger and hate than any other sin. While you, sir, are not directly attacking homosexuals or thier lifestyle, you speak of them as if you know them. This is the biggest problem with your understanding of homosexuality in the bible. If you loved them you might understand them. I'm not asking you to understand sin...I think you have a good handle on that being a human...I'm asking you to leave judgment to the Lord. |

I respect ALL that you responded to. However, let's take this one step farther. How do you feel about the agenda that is being perpetrated on our "young" and society as a whole. I don't get angry with homosexuals who partake in the act of sin in privacy, because I have no idea that it takes place. It is simply sin that God sees and will judge acordingly because He says so. That said, let us look at the lies and deceit that the anti-christian, anti-God, anti-heterosexual, libral, gay agenda weilding homosexuals have to offer. They say that there life style is simply what there god has created and so it must be good. That is a LIE from the "father of lies" himself. It is simply unatural, strange, defiant (with respect to Gods invention(s) which includes marriage) and quite frankly evil at the core. The small percentage of "genetic abnormals" (I state with the utmost respect) is (in my opinion) probably no higher than it was when my Lord Jesus walked among us. He said it was wrong for only one reason, he invented it. And he doesn't want it changed. Homosexuals are sinners. I am a sinner and so is everyone else. However, I get angry with the agenda-types that seem to think they can indoctrinate "the world" into believing that they have something special that no one ever new about until the "age of science" we are now in the middle of. I believe we were told to stand-our-ground as "soldiers of the faith and warriors of truth" so that we will not be converted by those who would change what we no to be sin into what they believe to be gods creation. Again I say that it is not about anger toward their sins. It is anger against what the gay extremists are trying to perpetrate on our God founded society. |

I understand your fears and your anger, but that's like judging Christians by thier extremists. I beleive that just as a Christian would argue that some Christians take things too far, so would a homosexual argue the same about a minority that makes the most noise- Regardless, we are called to love FIRST. If change is to happen in the heart, then we've unlocked the door. Can you really dissagree? Peace |

4 | Are we over stressing the need to repent | Rom 1:19 | Pastor Glenn | 91584
Megiddo, I put a question to my children. The question was, if our house was on fire while they were watching their favorite TV show and I decided not to disturb them, would they hate me if they got burned? Their answer was yes. Well, you must see what I am getting at here. Is it showing “hate” to warn people of approaching danger? Any child understands this. We do people a great disservice by coming to them and saying “I am sorry to disturb your show, but I love you and Jesus loves you too. Would you mind coming outside with me because Jesus wants you to accept “God's gift of grace brought to us through Jesus...who died for our sins.” From a previous post o Rom 1:21 I wrote: "... Paul was reminding, perhaps even warning, the Corinthian Christians that those who continued the pattern of leading the same sinful and decadent life were not going to inherit eternal salvation because it would indicate that they were never regenerated, never born again, never saved. ..." I was reading an article that gets to the heart of the problem of dealing with repentance: "... Two men are seated in a plane. The first is given a parachute and told to put is on as it would improve his flight. He's a little skeptical at first because he can't see how wearing a parachute in a plane could possibly improve the flight. After a time he decides to experiment and see if the claim is true. As he puts it on he notices the weight of it upon his shoulders and he finds that he has difficulty in sitting upright. However, he consoles himself with the fact that he was told the parachute would improve the flight. So, he decides to give the thing a little time. As he waits he notices that some of the other passengers are laughing at him, because he's wearing a parachute in a plane. He begins to feel somewhat humiliated. As they begin to point and laugh at him and he can stand it no longer, he slinks in his seat, un-straps the parachute, and throws it to the floor. Disillusionment and bitterness fill his heart, because, as far as he was concerned, he was told an outright lie. The second man is given a parachute, but listen to what he's told. He's told to put it on because at any moment he'd be jumping 25,000 feet out of the plane. He gratefully puts the parachute on; he doesn't notice the weight of it upon his shoulders, nor that he can't sit upright. His mind is consumed with the thought of what would happen to him if he jumped without that parachute. ..." http://www.christiansinteractive.com called: "Bible and Teaching: Hell's Best Kept Secret , by Ray Comfort Posted by: JoeRick on Mar 06, 2003 - 06:10 PM" The main point of the article is that the Gospel has no strength without repentance. Actually there is no remission of sins without repentance. Pastor Glenn |

Dear Glenn, That was a very good article, but I just thought I would remind you of something you probably already know. You said there is no remission of sins without repentance, but in Acts 2:38 we see there is no remission of sins without repentance and baptism. Just correcting a mistype. thanks Glenn |
