Jesus never intended for the Apostles to use the exact phrase. This is very simple. If Jesus intended for the Apostles to use the exact phrase. And they did not. Then they would have been disobedient in their acts and Words in the book of Acts. No where do you find that they baptized in the exact words or phrase "in the name of the Father, Son and Holy Ghost (or Spirit). But, You do find where they said and baptized in "Jesus Name". God named "Jesus" if you study what a Name really means you would understand what I mean. The utterance of a Name is not what I meant. You must know the individual. Notice, in Acts Paul called on the Name of Jesus to cast out evil spirits. But when the jews tried it, it did not work. Tim, justme says that I owe you an apoligy and that I broke the rules of this forum in the way that I spoke to you. How do you feel about that?

cajam - You should apologize to Tim for sounding off to him like you did, but only if your apology is from the heart, that is, sincere. Empty words are of no value. In reference to an apology to Tim, you ask of him, "How do you feel about that?" It seems to me the proper question is to ask yourself how you feel about that. Please think before you post. Please think as you post. Please think. --Hank
