What have you to do with this. You will not come. But you also try to prevent others from entering. Will you always resist the Holy Ghost. Will you always rebell and grieve the Holy Ghost. The blood of Jesus is against You.

Greetings Cajam! I just posted to Justme that I belive that I owe you an apology. My post to Justme was not intended to be an attack on you, but an attempt at humor. However, I can see where you could preceive it as an attack on you. Therefore, I apologize my friend. The point I was trying to making with humor was simply this: The actual words and commands of Jesus take precedence. In Matt. 28:19, we are told that we should 'be baptizing' in the 'name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit'. Therefore, it can never be 'wrong' to use this phrase in baptism. Now, my opposition to your position is not your practice, but your position. I don't believe that the 'formula' matters all that much. I also note that Mt. 28:19 says the 'name' - singular. Since I believe in the Trinity, I can pray to the Father, or to the Son, or the Holy Spirit. It really doesn't matter because there is only One God. So, I have no problem with someone baptizing 'in the name of Jesus'. If that is what you choose, fine. I do have a problem though with someone saying that baptizing in the name of the 'Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit' is inappropriate or somehow defective. This position simply is Scriptural. Your Brother in Christ, Tim Moran |

I did not see it as an attack on me. I can take that, if you think I can't, you should see some of the things that was written about me. When we are witnessing to the truth and someone steps in to interfer it stir a rightous indignation. I wish you no harm. Also I do not see anything wrong with Matthew 28. I have no problem whatsoever with this scripture. Neither did the Apostles. Jesus said also to teach. That is what I was doing. If you believe or not. You can not say you never heard.
