Jesus directions in Matthew 28:19 was to his eleven disciples. If you are not his disciple why do you think this is for you? You teaching comes from the disciples (those sent by God) and it is this "repent and be baptized in the name of "Jesus " for the remission of you sin and you shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost. And after this God will give you the understanding of Matthew 28:19.

Hi cajam, Are we His disciple or his? Who is the Lord our God? We are called to Himself. Acts 2:36-39. Acts 2:38, "And Peter said to them, "Repent, and let each of you be bapitized in the name of Jesus Christ for the forgiveness of your sins;..." Matthew 28:19, "Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and the Son..." God made the Lord both Lord and Christ--this Jesus whom was crucified. Acts 2:36. The promised gift of the holy spirit is for everyone. The Holy Spirit, even the Lord our God, shall call everyone to *Himself. John 10:30, "I and the Father are one." Romans 11:36, "For from Him and through Him and to Him are all things. To *Him be the glory forever. Amen." From the heart, Ray |

Are you asking a question? or are you making a statement. Please, clarify. If we are all already disciples then Matt 28:19 would not have said to "make disciples". Do I understand you correctly?
