1 | What does the word"believe"involve | John 3:16 | lionheart | 226937 | ||
EdB, The post you are replying to was from Lionstrong. This is a subject that has long been argued, and wrongly interpreted. There can be no argument that we are saved by faith. No faith, no salvation, no nothing. What we do in our lives after we come to Christ flows from faith. Our actions or works if you want to refer to them as such will evidence the reality of our salvation or the absence of it. We have a plethora of scriptures available to us that shed light on this issue. Hebrews chapter 11 being one example. In Him, lionheart |

Lionheart I apologize to you. And you are right we are saved by faith. However the word believe used in John 3:16 is translated from the Greek word Pisteuo of which I gave meaning. You must believe to the point of being dependant on your belief for you to have pisteuo belief. |
