1 | No Fruit? | John 15:8 | lionheart | 205467 | ||
Val, Dear sis I think what makes it hard for us is that we take our focus off the mission (Matt 28:18-20) and that's to make disciples. This is for all of us. That is that we're bringing people to Christ. Whether it be from the pulpit or what ever other means God will make available to us. What we need to ask ourselves is do we have the heart to go wherever, do whatever to win folks over to Christ. Dear heart God just wants us to be about our purpose. In Him, lionheart |

I agree. Your note reminds me of the verse that says one plants, one waters but Christ gives the increase. 1 Cor 3:5 What then is Apollos? And what is Paul? Servants through whom you believed, even as the Lord gave opportunity to each one. 1 Cor 3:6 I planted, Apollos watered, but God was causing the growth. 1 Cor 3:7 So then neither the one who plants nor the one who waters is anything, but God who causes the growth. 1 Cor 3:8 Now he who plants and he who waters are one; but each will receive his own reward according to his own labor. Blessings, Val |
