Hello Frank, And at Isaiah 9:6 Jesus Christ is prophetically called ´El Gib·bohr´, “Mighty God” (not ´El Shad·dai´ (God Almighty) which is applied to only Jehovah as at Genesis 17:1 At Psalm 8:5, the angels are also referred to as ´elo·him´, as is confirmed by Paul’s quotation of the passage at Hebrews 2:6-8. They are called beneh´ ha·´Elo·him´, “sons of God” (KJ); “sons of the true God” (NW), at Genesis 6:2, 4; Job 1:6; 2:1. Lexicon in Veteris Testamenti Libros, by Koehler and Baumgartner (1958), page 134, says: “(individual) divine beings, gods.” And page 51 says: “the (single) gods,” and it cites Genesis 6:2; Job 1:6; 2:1; 38:7. Hence, at Psalm 8:5 ´elo·him´ is rendered “angels” in the Septuigent (LXX); “godlike ones” (NW). Also, to angels as in Psalm 89:6: “Who can resemble Jehovah among the sons of God (or angels) (bi·beneh´ ´E·lim´)? It must be noted that in no way can these be, a play on words, "false gods" simply because they are not the Almighty "true God YHWH" because it is the Bible that is calling them "gods" and they are from the Hebrew word (elohim) which means "to be strong". Great Tara, Well, that should be suffecient evidence to those who believe that Yahshua is Yahweh when it is quite clear that They are NOT "one and the same being" as many deceptively teach. If they need more evidence they can find it on my web page at: http://www.freewebs.com/frank4yahweh/index.htm |

Hi, frank4Yahweh! Part 1 of 2 Yahshua also clearly stated: The Father and I are one. (John 10:30) As I wrote to Johnny, please to do not attempt to divorce a select few passages from the rest of the Bible. The Bible in its entirety is the Word of God. And the Word of God clearly states that Jesus is God: The Father and I are one. (John 10:30) Here’s my post to Johnny: “Please read the Bible in its entirety. Do not attempt to divorce the various passages from the rest of the Bible… if you persist on doing so, you will never please Yahweh (Hebrews 11:6), you will be found short of Grace by He who can save you or discard you (Matthew 7:22-23), and you will only be cheating yourself out of the Truth ( 1 Corinthians 1:19-31)--you who seek to glorify yourself, glorify in the Lord! I do not blame you for erring… it is our nature! When we seek to grow in earthly wisdom, that which is Spirit born confounds us! That is why I convey to you James commands to ask God for His Wisdom (James 1:5) and He will gladly fill you with the Holy Spirit! But you must be humble and truly thirsty for His revelations! Humble yourself to God and He will exalt you!: It is of the mysterious wisdom of God that we talk, the wisdom that was hidden, which God predestined to be for our glory before the ages began. None of the rulers of the age recognized it; for if they had recognized it, they would not have crucified the Lord of glory; (1 Corinthians 2:7-8) True, there will be hard passages in the Bible that our finite understanding will never grasp; but the Holy Spirit, who is God Himself, can broaden our mind and understanding so that His Will is revealed in the fullness of times: For no prophecy ever came from human initiative. When people spoke for God it was the Holy Spirit that moved them. (2 Peter 1:21) Think on this: When you worship Yahweh, do you direct your worship to only the Father? The same person who said that “the Father is greater than I,” also said: The Father and I are one. (John 10:30) How do you reconcile these two opposite statements? Either the Father is greater than Jesus or the Father and Jesus are one or they are both true statements since Jesus Christ as the Lamb of God, had to suffer our infirmities in order to rescue us from our filth! (Isaiah 52:13 thru 53:12). Again, I ask: when you worship the Father, do you ask Him for enlightenment or do you tell Him how to receive your worship and prayers? You see Jesus and the Father are inseparable! They share one Throne (Revelation 22:1) , they share one Temple (Revelation 21:22), and they are the Light (Revelation 21:23). There is One Creator, One Lord, One King, One Savior, One God!: ‘Do you not believe that I am in the Father and the Father is in me? What I say to you I do not speak of my own accord: it is the Father, living in me, who is doing his works. You must believe me when I say that I am in the Father and the Father is in me… (John 14:10-11 ) Paul understands this relationship between the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit: Ephesians 2:17-18: He came to bring the good news of peace to you who were far off and peace to those who were near. Through him, then we both in the one Spirit have free access to the Father. (“both” refers to the Jews and gentiles) God is Three Divine Persons in one Unit of Perfection: John 14:16-17, 23: I shall ask the Father, and he will give you another Paraclete to be with you for ever, the Sprit of truth whom the world can never accept since it neither sees nor knows him; but you know him, because he is with you, he is in you. Jesus replied: Anyone who loves me will keep my word, and my Father will love him, and we shall come to him and make a home in him. Please remove your blinders! Let go of your ego and of the fallacies of man, and open your heart to Jesus, all the Apostles new Him as God: Thomas replied, ‘My Lord and my God!’ Jesus said to him: You believe because you can see me. Blessed are those who have not seen and yet believe. (John 20:28-29) |

Yes, Yahshua clearly stated that He and Father Yahweh arre one. He also clearly stated that we also can be one with Father Yahweh as He was one with Father Yahweh (" ...as We are one ..."). When Yahshua said, I and the Father are one" He did not mean that They are "one and the same being" as many deceptively teach. The 'one' is in reference to Their unity or agreement. An example of this is when a man and a woman are married they become one. They are not one and the same person, but one in unity or agreement. | ||||||

Hi Frank, Read John 17:20,21. First, I would like to know why you use Yahshua, as does a Bible I have (The Sacred Scriptures, Bethel Edition) when I understand it should be:The name Jesus (Gr., Iesous´) corresponds to the Hebrew name Jeshua (or, in fuller form, Jehoshua), meaning “Jehovah Is Salvation.” The Assemblies of Yahweh of Bethel, Pennsylvania say their reason is: "Eliminating the vowel points from the name found in Num. 13:16 it is conclusively confirmed that the best transliteration into English is Yahshua." This manke no sense to me at all. Green's Hebrew Interlinear has the vowel points for that name found in Num. 13:16 and it's Yoshua, thus the English name of Joshua. Yes, I believe it's correct that the name for Jesus in Hebrew is that same name found in Number 13:16. Just wondering, no big deal. Any ideas. The least that we can learn from your illustration is that the true followers of Christ are to attain a unity that is compared with this unity existing between Jehovah and his Son Jesus Christ. John 17:20,21 clearly agrees with your thought where it says, 20 “I make request, not concerning these only, but also concerning those putting faith in me through their word; 21 in order that they may all be one, just as you, Father, are in union with me and I am in union with you, that they also may be in union with us, in order that the world may believe that you sent me forth." This is no doubt God’s will for all his creatures to whom eternal life is promised, and this perfect unity between God and his only-begotten Son is the high standard of unity for them. Unity is possible only where there is agreement in thoughts and in action. The solid basis on which such unity can be built is the properly understood Word of God, the Bible. It is this truth that makes men free and unified. “If you remain in my word, you are really my disciples, and you will know the truth, and the truth will set you free.” (John 8:31, 32) The disciples of Jesus agreed with his teachings and his actions. They became one with him. This brought about a change in their lives and they followed their Master. On the other hand, the Pharisees disagreed with Jesus’ teachings and deeds. Their pride and the wrong interpretation of the Scriptures hindered them from coming into unity with him. So it is today Tara1 |

Hi, Tara1! I offer to you my message to frank4Yahweh!: "Philip said to him, "Lord, show us the Father; that is all we need." Jesus answered. For a long time I have been with you all; YET YOU DO NOT KNOW ME, Philip (Frank). WHY, THEN, DO YOU SAY 'Show us the Father'? DO YOU NOT BELIEVE, Philip (Frank), THAT I AM IN THE FATHER AND THE FATHER IS IN ME? THE WORDS THAT I HAVE SPOKEN TO YOU," Jesus said to his disciples, "DO NOT COME FROM ME. THE FATHER, WHO REMAINS IN ME, DOES HIS OWN WORK. BELIEVE ME WHEN I SAY THAT I AM IN THE FATHER AND THE FATHER IS IN ME. IF NOT, BELIEVE BECAUSE OF THE THINGS I DO. (John 14:8-11) You cannot divorce the Son from the Father. It is a futile effort; one that will only gain you perdition! Jesus is the Only Way! If you reject Jesus' Divinity you blaspheme against the Holy Spirit who testifies in His Name! There is no Salvation outside of Jesus! Please, do not allow your obstinate mind to cloud the message of Salvation brought to you by God's Holy Spirit! Be humble and accept Jesus as your Lord and Savior!" Jesus is not talking about a symbolic unity with the Father! THE FATHER LIVES IN JESUS AS JESUS LIVES IN THE FATHER! Through the Holy Spirit, which is the Third Person of God, we too can become one with each other (not symbolic meeting of the minds) and as we are one with each other we become one with Jesus, who is One with the Father! May you humble yourself to the Holy Spirit and allow Him to guide you to Salvation: Jesus! God Bless! Angel God Bless! Angel |
