I agree with you in this... but say believers are wrong.... then the life that they live devoted to Jesus and God and serving Them is a waisted one. Ex. A person who spends their whole life on missions to places that they really don't want to be, but are there to serve God.

Luke, let's say that you became a Christian. Are there some things about your present lifestyle that you feel would need to be changed in order to be a disciple of Christ? The point of my question, Luke, is this. I've been a Christian for 53 years and seen much of life and met many believers and nonbelievers, and I find that usually men don't reject Christ out of purely intellectual reasons, though they may say they do or even convince themselves that that is the reason. But often lurking behind this facade are other reasons which on closer inspection turn out to be the real reasons. It is not so often that a person is a genuine agnostic or atheist but a common, rebellious sinner hiding behind an excuse. It is not for intellectual reasons that most people reject God. It is more common that they reject the authority of, and accountability to, a Being higher than themselves. Luke, how do you fit in? Why do you reject God? Is it truth you really want, or is it truth that you would really rather not have? Luke, please, where, when, and how did you develop the idea that believers are wrong? Wherein are believers wrong and you right? If there is no God, who sets the standards and how are they set? In a universe without God can there even be such things as right and wrong? --Hank
