Something to consider: Some say Jesus and God were separated because Jesus "became sin" when He bore the sins of the world. God said He would never leave us or forsake us. Where can we flee from His Spirit? Psalm 139. If Jesus "became sin" He would not be the spotless Lamb needed to be the sacrifice. Jesus knew all alone that He would have to die, so He was not questioning (or doubting) God when He asked, "...Why have You forsaken Me?" To doubt means there's no faith...and without faith it's impossible to please God. Just something to study...ponder. Bereaniam |
