Yes, that is the mirror. John Calvin asserted that our relationship to the Law shifts from being under its harsh jurisdiction, to living with its kindly advice. I love that! The Law becomes a blessing for those who now, through the imputation of Christ alone, are new creatures, in perfect harmony with it. |

I would so very much love to hear that verse discussed well. On the surface its not so very hard to understand but I have always felt I was missing some of the deeper meaning there in how he was trying to explain the law's function in this metaphor. In Christ, Beja |
