Bible Note: Good day Lightedsteps, I was using your own choice of terms "...but the engrafted word, the perfect law of liberty..." when I asked what "word". Since at the time of the apostolic writings there was no New Testament, exactly what commands were being spoken of for believers to obey if not the commands found in the books of Moses? In Ex. 21 (just a continuation of chapter 20) God calls what He spoke in ch 20 mishpatim and tzedaka - judgements and righteousness - whoever first choose to label them "law(s)" I don't know, but to fulfill what you requested: Deut 6:6 (NASB) These words which I am commanding you today, shall be on your heart... |
