1 | Is there forgiveness after falling back? | Matt 18:22 | suzyq | 35215
THE MOST I CAN SAY THAT I HAVE LEARNED IS THAT WHEN YOU STRUGGLE WITH THE SAME SINS OVER AND OVER IT BECOMES "WILLFUL IGNORANCE" AND IT WOULD SEEM THAT THE STRUGGLE WOULD BE WITH THE FLESH THAT MUST BE DENIED DAILY. HE KNOWS WHAT THE INTENTIONS OF THE HEART ARE AND WILL ALLOW THOSE THINGS IN TO BE CONQUERED WITH HIS HELP. YOU CAN DO IT. WITH PRAYER AND FASTING. I'LL HELP YOU TOO NO NEED TO KNOW WHAT THEY ARE BUT TOO, WHEN WE CONFESS OUR SINS ONE TO ANOTHER THAT'S WHERE BROTHERS AND SISTERS ARE ONE AND KNOW WHAT TO PRAY FOR . HE ALREADY KNOWS , JUST WANTS OUR FAITHFULNESS. FIND A BIBLE-BASED CHURCH AND FIND JESUS IN THE PEOPLE THERE , YOU WILL SEE THE FACE OF GOD, AND BE DELIVERED WITH THE VICTORY. WITH MUCH LOVE, SUZYQ

3 | Is "Willful Ignorance" in the Scripture? | Matt 18:22 | Derdan | 76374
2 Peter 3:5 (KJV) Reads, "For this they willingly are ignorant of ...". The context is the return of the Lord to take His disciples to be with Him forever. Scoffers were denying this would happen while they were "willingly ignorant" of the time of Noah and the flood which destroyed the world. When He comes "the heavens and the earth, which are now, ... are kept in store, reserved unto fire against the day of Judgement and destruction of ungodly men ..." See 2 Peter 3:3-14. |

4 | Is "Willful Ignorance" in the Scripture? | Matt 18:22 | Ngop | 76563
The context of 2 Peter 3:5, I believe, is the knowledge of sin and yet committing it still. But the question " falling again and again " to sin by Jeannie should not be construed as " Willfull Ignorance". All sins can be identified and counted. Meaning it is finite. Thus, man will commit the same sins again and again. Being in evil flesh, we will always commit sin, the same sin which we have done before. So will it be forgiven? YES, it will. Then where is real repentance. It is in our hearts where only God can access. Peter who has been with Jesus Himself, committed this "willful ignorance" by denying Him three times. Now, he holds the key to heaven. Judas Iscariot, made only one. But his heart, God knew, now he burns in hell. To Jeannie, To be born again is NOT to be perfect. It is STRIVING to be perfect. Keep on praying and learning more about the Word of God and soon you will realize your repetitive sins are diminishing. In Jesus' name, Ngop |
