1 | jesus on the cross , and also did god c | Matt 14:30 | CiY127 | 136831
God created the seed that she didn't get from a man, in Mary, thus Christ was created and the son of God.
2 | God created Jesus? | Matt 14:30 | Hank | 136836
CiY127 - Once again I ask you to support your statement, "God created Adam and Eve, and in a different manner He created Jesus" with specific SCRIPTURE. That means citing book, chapter, and verse. [If you can back up a theological statement of this magnitude with Scripture, please do so. If you cannot, please admit that it was your opinion. In either case please don't continue posting theological statements unless you CAN and DO support them with Scripture.] --Hank
3 | God created Jesus? | Matt 14:30 | CiY127 | 136839
Matt 1:18Now the birth of Jesus Christ was on this wise: When as his mother Mary was espoused to Joseph, before they came together, she was found with child of the Holy Ghost Luke 1:26And in the sixth month the angel Gabriel was sent from God unto a city of Galilee, named Nazareth, 27To a virgin espoused to a man whose name was Joseph, of the house of David; and the virgin’s name was Mary. 28And the angel came in unto her, and said, Hail, thou that art highly favoured, the Lord is with thee: blessed art thou among women. 29And when she saw him, she was troubled at his saying, and cast in her mind what manner of salutation this should be. 30And the angel said unto her, Fear not, Mary: for thou hast found favour with God. 31And, behold, thou shalt conceive in thy womb, and bring forth a son, and shalt call his name JESUS. 32He shall be great, and shall be called the Son of the Highest: and the Lord God shall give unto him the throne of his father David: 33And he shall reign over the house of Jacob for ever; and of his kingdom there shall be no end. 34Then said Mary unto the angel, How shall this be, seeing I know not a man? 35And the angel answered and said unto her, The Holy Ghost shall come upon thee, and the power of the Highest shall overshadow thee: therefore also that holy thing which shall be born of thee shall be called the Son of God. 36And, behold, thy cousin Elisabeth, she hath also conceived a son in her old age: and this is the sixth month with her, who was called barren. 37For with God nothing shall be impossible. 38And Mary said, Behold the handmaid of the Lord; be it unto me according to thy word. And the angel departed from her. So just how did the babe Jesus get in Mary's womb, was it a magician's trick? Logic dictates that something was created in Mary's womb, the seed for impregnation, the embryo itself, etc. If you do not believe that Christ was created, then give book chapter and verse to prove it. |

4 | God created Jesus? | Matt 14:30 | Hank | 136843
CiY127 - You request, "If you do not believe that Christ was created, then give book, chapter, and verse to prove it." ..... John 1:1-3, "In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. He was in the beginning with God. All things came into being though Him, and apart from Him nothing came into being that has come into being." ..... Now do you still insist that God created Jesus? ..... Friend, I believe you may be confusing incarnation with creation. Please observe John 1:14, "And the Word became flesh and dwelt among us, and we saw His glory as of the only begotten Son from the Father, full of grace and truth." ..... The word "became" in this passage indicates transition not creation. The Word existed before He became man (see again v.2 of John 1). ..... Further proof that Christ was not created: "I and the Father are one [John 10:30]. ...... "...He who has seen Me has seen the Father; how can you say, 'Show us the Father?'" [John 14:9] ....... To say that God created Jesus is an extremely dangerous and anti-scriptural assertion that has broad ramifications, chief of which is denial of the deity of Christ. I am fairly confident that you do not mean to bring into question the deity of our Lord but rather were confusing incarnation (became flesh) with creation. The two terms are by no means synonymous. --Hank
5 | God created Jesus? | Matt 14:30 | CiY127 | 136844
I recognize your position now and will no longer post to this subject for nothing I can show you would change your position and there are many sites already dealing with the trinity. Yes I still insist that God created Jesus. For I do not hold the belief that these verses you have stated point to Christ as a part of a triune God. I did not confuse incarnation with creation, and I will not debate the deity of Christ. It is not an anti-scriptual position, it is a position based upon a rightly-divided Word.

CiY127 - Your position strikes a familiar chord and sounds like Watchtower propaganda. Are you a Jehovah's Witness? --Hank
7 | God created Jesus? | Matt 14:30 | CiY127 | 136857
No I am not Jehovah's Witness. And the rest of you that are up in arms don't have to worry, I will not post to this subject again. I didn't mean to step on the trinity toes. Forget what the Word says, just stick to tradition.
8 | God created Jesus? | Matt 14:30 | Morant61 | 136864
Greetings CiY127! My friend, I do not base my view of Christ upon tradition, but upon the Word! :-) There are many Scriptural evidences that Jesus is God. There are several lines of evidence which demonstrate that Jesus is God. 1) The claims of Christ Himself. a) All of the "I am" passages, where He equates Himself with the "I am" of Exodus. b) Mt. 13:41, where He speaks of His angels and His Kingdom. The angels are referred to elsewhere as the "angels of God" (Lk. 12:8-9; 15:10.) The Kingdom is repeatedly referred to in the Gospels as the "Kingdom of God." c) Christ’s claim to be able to forgive sins in Mark 2:5 equates Him with God. The Jews understood this for in v. 7 they say it is blasphemy because only God can forgive sins. d) In Mt. 25:31-46, Christ speaks of judging the world. A function which properly belongs only to God. e) In Mark 2:27-28, Christ claims to be "the Lord of the Sabbath." The Sabbath was instituted by God. Therefore, only God could abrogate or modify this regulation. f) In John 10:30, Christ claims to be "one with the Father." g) In John 14:7-9, Christ says that to see and know Him is to see and know the Father. h) In John 8:58, Jesus claims to be God and pre-existent. i) Christ accepted the attribution of deity made to Him by Thomas, when Thomas cried "My Lord and my God (John 20:28). j) He claimed to have power over life and death in John 11:25. 2 The claims of others about Christ. a) John 1:1 clearly says that Christ was God. b) Heb. 1:3 says that Christ is the exact representation of God’s nature and the radiance of His glory. This could only be true of God. c) Paul writes in Col. 1:15-20 that Jesus is the image of the invisible God v. 15. That Jesus is the one in whom and through whom and for whom all things hold together in v. 17. In v. 19, he says that the "fullness" of God dwells in Christ. He states this again in Col. 2:9. d) Paul also writes in Phil. 2:5-11 of the divine nature and pre-existence of Christ. Finally, Titus 2:13 says, "while we wait for the blessed hope—the glorious appearing of our great God and Savior, Jesus Christ," In this verse, Jesus is called both God and Savior. This isn't tradition! It is the Word! Your Brother in Christ, Tim Moran |

I do not wish to be banned from posting, but I can show the Biblical research on all those verses and supply at least a 75 specific and over a thousand generic (not exagerating) to support my belief. But I promised not to post on it any more.
10 | God created Jesus? | Matt 14:30 | CDBJ | 136907
Greetings CiY127, All of the biblical research in the world doesn’t mean a thing compared to a personal relationship with God through His Son Jesus Christ. As one and the same the following is presented. John 14:1 Let not your heart be troubled: ye believe in God, believe also in me. 1 John 5:10-13 He that believeth on the Son of God hath the witness in himself: he that believeth not God hath made him a liar; because he believeth not the record that God gave of his Son. [11] And this is the record, that God hath given to us eternal life, and this life is in his Son. [12] He that hath the Son hath life; and he that hath not the Son of God hath not life. [13] These things have I written unto you that believe on the name of the Son of God; that ye may know that ye have eternal life, and that ye may believe on the name of the Son of God. John 14:6 Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me. 1 Cor. 2:14 But the natural man receiveth not the things of the Spirit of God: for they are foolishness unto him: neither can he know them, because they are spiritually discerned. John 3:3 Jesus answered and said unto him, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God. Matthew 16:17 And Jesus answered and said unto him, Blessed art thou, Simon Barjona: for flesh and blood hath not revealed it unto thee, but my Father which is in heaven. No one on this forum can reveal truth to you, the understanding of Scripture is supernatural! 1 Cor. 1:18-21 For the preaching of the cross is to them that perish foolishness; but unto us which are saved it is the power of God. [19] For it is written, I will destroy the wisdom of the wise, and will bring to nothing the understanding of the prudent. [20] Where is the wise? where is the scribe? where is the disputer of this world? hath not God made foolish the wisdom of this world? [21] For after that in the wisdom of God the world by wisdom knew not God, it pleased God by the foolishness of preaching to save them that believe. Do your self a big favor and let God work for you by trusting in His Son!!! Have a great day, CDBJ |
