1 | Did Mary remain a virgin? | Matt 12:47 | JCrichton | 132977 | ||
Hi, Steve! Sorry to have broken your golden rule! Since I have noticed that others have posted comments, arguments or questions without using a particular Biblical text, I thought that I could also make such references! But to please you and keep your mind at ease, I shall from know on refrain from any comment that does not have a Biblical reference attached to it! 2 Timothy 2:15--I thought I should throw somethig in lest I grieve you any further! God Bless! (This is extrapolated from Romans 12:14--which in turn followed Jesus' Command (Luke 6:28) to offer the Father's Blessing to all--we are called to Bless and not to curse; by indulging ourselves in negativism we obliterate the Holy Spirit's work on us... so my final remark is always "God Bless!" as He can and will bless all who come to Him in obedience; so I chose such phrase that my desire to Have Yahweh Bless others would bring His Blessings upon me as well!) |

Hello Angel, It's not my golden rule. It's the policy of the forum. If you intend to respond with Scripture to back up the statements made made, then do so. Otherwise it's vain rhetoric that has no place on this forum. Steve |

"It doesn't matter. They are legally married whether it's performed in Catholic church or a root cellar. Or whether it's performed by a priest, judge, or ship's captain. There simply is no need to renew vows in order to make it a "Christian" marriage." This is just an example of a post that is a general statement... is there a Biblical passage that agrees with every point made? Does Scripture stipulate that any coming to gether is a marriage? Were there marriages being performed by any Peter, Paul or James within the Jewish/Biblical culture? This is just to demonstrate that people do post their arguments without the simplest Scriputure notation... as I said in my previous post to you on this matter: "But to please you and keep your mind at ease, I shall from know on refrain from any comment that does not have a Biblical reference attached to it!" (2 Corinthians 5:17; 1 Corinthians 4:16) God Bless! Angel |
