It seems very likely that this verse refers to the family of Seth ("sons of God") and the family of Cain. The family of Seth had preserved their faith in God and the family of Cain had not. This mingling corrupted the family of Seth and produced a stock of people known for their physical strength and bravery. Wickedness had reached new depths. | ||||||
