Subject: Speculation. Specualtion can be good, or bad, it can bless, or introduce error. If, Speculation is to be of any value it must satisfy certain criteria. 1. It must honor the Lord our God, and cause people to praise, and glorify His Holy Name. 2. It must honor the person, and work of our Lord Jesus Christ. 3. It must be in agreement with all the other verses of Scripture that have something to say on that subject. 4. It must be of benefit to believers, and enable them to be more Christ like. If it does in fact satisfy all the above, then I think it is worth considering. |

The more one experiments by digging a pit under a huge rock the more likely it is that the rock will fall on him at some point; maybe the next shovel full. I’ve found it’s not a good idea to try undermining a large rock without ample support for the rock first! Or better yet use the rock for the foundation instead of trying to put a new foundation under the rock. There aren’t many that are “willing” to jump in a pit and help stop a rock that’ obviously starting to fall; if you get my drift? Psalm 119:160 The sum of Thy word is truth, And every one of Thy righteous ordinances is everlasting. 2 Tim. 2:15 Be diligent to present yourself approved to God as a workman who does not need to be ashamed, handling accurately the word of truth.
