That Search option doesn't work as well as people think it does. I typed in Tree of Life and found a number of pages. The articles there either had the word Tree or Life in it, but none of them pointed me to anything on the Tree of Life. I love the Forum here. There is no doubt in my mind that this site is extremely helpful when it comes to studying God's Word. My understanding is that the Tree of Life and the Tree of Knowledge are two separate trees. I, too, am looking into why God said you can eat from every tree except the Tree of Knowledge. What is the significance of the Tree of Life? |

Read Gen.2:17 and 3:3.Adam died the instant he ate from that tree.He died spiritually not physically--thus the condition or state of man before recieving Christ.Read Romans 5:12-19.Sin means to miss the mark(which is Christ)and Adam missed it by not eating from the tree of life (which also speaks of CHRIST).See brother we're not a sinner based on what we do,it's based on our natural birth.We were all born spiritually dead,but we,all have been made alive by the new birth IN CHRIST.Read John 5:21-26.and 1John5:11-13.The purpose of Jesus was not just to die,but to give eternal life.In scripture eternal life or everlasting life sometimes refers to quality of life as to duration of life | ||||||
