1 | The Bible is Right,they believe in Him? | Gen 12:1 | EdB | 57565
Searcher To Believe in the TRUE God you also have to believe in Jesus since they are one. Jesus was with God since the beginning. Nothing was created without Him. The demons obviously believe in Jesus they had seen Him they knew who He was when walked upon this earth. In fact He told them to shut up as the revealed who He was. They were in subjection to Him when He told them to leave or go into the pigs. Demons know Jesus and therefore they believe He is who He claimed to be. However they do not depend on Him for their salvation. Therefore salvation must demand more than just belief in Jesus Christ. The word says we are saved through grace and if we go to Titus 2:11-15 For the grace of God that brings salvation has appeared to all men, 12TEACHING US THAT, DENYING UNGODLINESS AND WORLDLY LUSTS, WE SHOULD LIVE SOBERLY, RIGHTEOUSLY, AND GODLY IN THE PRESENT AGE, 13LOOKING FOR THE BLESSED HOPE AND GLORIOUS APPEARING OF OUR GREAT GOD AND SAVIOR JESUS CHRIST, 14who gave Himself for us, that He might redeem us from every lawless deed and purify for Himself His own special people, zealous for good works. 15Speak these things, exhort, and rebuke with all authority. Let no one despise you. We see what saving grace produces in the life of a believer. I think it is safe to say if a person does not have evidence of these things in his life that person does not have saving grace in his life. EdB |

3 | The Bible is Right,they believe in Him? | Gen 12:1 | EdB | 57584
Searcher That is right the demons believed in Jesus but did not depend on Him for their salvation. Do you have any idea how many are doing just that today? The churches across America are filled with people that "believe" in Jesus. They believe He is the Son of God, that He was crucified and died and arose the third day, they even believe He ascended into heaven and one day will return. However they do not depend on Him for their salvation. They are living today the same as they did before they knew about Jesus, nothing changed, Grace never allowed to enter their lives to effect it’s changes on them. The miracle of Salvation has never been allowed to take place in their hearts and spirits. EdB |
