Subject: Is this when Abram was declared righteou |
Bible Note: Since Genesis 15:6 says in plain English "And he [Abram] believed in (trusted in, relied on, remained steadfast to) the Lord, and He counted it to him as righteousness (right standing with God)," then I would say your understanding is correct. This is PRECISELY when Abram's faith was accounted to him as righteousness. After reading this PLAIN passage of Scripture, any other answer is pure speculation and wishful thinking. To whom it may concern: What about Heb. 11:8? There's not one word in this verse about justification or righteousness. Let's not read into Scripture something that is not there. |
