Bible Question (short): What about James 2:22-23 where he saids |
Question (full): What about James 2:22-23 where he saids faith was made perfect? Then he saids the scripture was "fulfilled" which saith, Abraham believed God, and it was imputed unto him for righteousness: and he was called the friend of God. So if one has faith he must prove that it is real by doing what God tells him to do. Heb. 11:1-40 which person in this chapter only believed and it was counted or imputed for righteousness? I think this is what James had in mind, and Paul was speaking about the Law of Moses and man's own righteousness apart from God. Or else do we have a great contradiction between Paul and James? |
