1 | how do you speak in tongues? | 1 Corinthians | remodeled | 49277
We speak in tongues when filled with the Holy Spirit. We only speak as it gives us utterance. I think it is in Acts. Remember not all people will speak in tongues, but some will have different gifts that the Holy Sprit gives them. |

3 | how do you speak in tongues? | 1 Corinthians | remodeled | 49517
I'll do my best to explain it. First,Speaking in tongues is the utterance give by the Holy Spirit. It is talking in an unknown tongue that you do not understand. I'm not talking about french, german or spanish. Secondly, My expererience was not long ago, at the church I attend we had a service . I went to the alter to ask for prayer and the pastor laid hands on me and prayed. All of a sudden I felt a great charge go through me and then I hear not only the pastor ,but others that are around me speaking in tongues. There for I beleive. Thirdly, I have learned that there are two different types of speaking in tongues. First, There is the tongue of praise, which is when it is spoken only God can understand it. It is praise unto him to gloyify his name. Second, There is the tongue that can be interpeted by someone. It is a message from God to the church or a prophecy . The benefit or edification is that it allows us to talk with God,plus it allows Him to speak through us. All to build His church stronger, plus draw us closer to Him. It all is to His glory and praise. I pray someday that Holy Spirit will bless me with that gift, but I also understand not all will receive it. GOD BLESS, Remodeled |
