Vehoka, I hope you didn't take offence to anything I said. But I feel that what is happening in this world today are because Truth is looked on as "Politically Incorrect" And Christians are standing on the sidelines saying nothing until Sunday morning in church. When the first Harry Potter movie came out on the News there was a guy in main going out on the streets teaching against this heresy. The news didn't make him look so good but in my eyes he is a champion for Christ. God Bless Darcy |

Hello, Darcy -- You're likely aware of it already, but you received some bad advice tonight from another forum user, albeit I'm convinced this user gave it with all good intentions. The advice was: "You must do it as you feel God is leading you." The fatal flaw in this advice lies in the word "feel." Christians are not instructed in the word of God to rely on their feelings. What a Christian "feels" he should do is not the same thing as obeying what God commands him through His word to do. Man does not "feel" his way to justification; he does not "feel" his way to sanctification. God by His grace justifies. The Holy Spirit by His indwelling sanctifies. And the regenerate believer is taught by the revealed word of God to know what the will of God is. God does not leave His children at the mercy of their feelings. --Hank | ||||||
