Dear Justme, I am neither 7th day, nor JW, nor HWA follower, I am follower of Jesus Christ and I worship and bow my knee to Him and the Father, from whom all life flows. May I likewise pose you the same questions: What if you are wrong? And at the judgement, you've found out that you've blasphemed God's character and Good name all these years by your teaching? What do you think He'll do with you? I am thoroughly convinced and persuaded that the understanding I have of the Truth is not just some 'theology', but the very knowledge of God, His character attributes, which their are primarily four, Love-Justice-Wisdom-Power and all four of these operate harmoniously. I also know that God is not a hypocrite, He would not tell ancient Israel to not burn their children in the fire to the god Molech, yet at the same time have a plan for burning His own offspring in eternal fire. I do believe as Jesus said, no one gets into the Kingdom of God but BY HIM! Precisely! Acts 4:12, for there is NO OTHER NAME given among men wherebe we MUST be saved! I do not reject Jesus Christ, I do reject 'another Jesus', 'another gospel', and 'another spirit', a spirit of evil that caused countless non-trinitarians to be burned at the stake for rejecting the erroneous doctrine of the Triune God. Such great and noble men as Miguel Servetus, who wrote the book "Errors of the Trinity" who was burned at the stake by John Calvin during the Reformation years. Orthodox views come from the wild beast of Revelation, the Roman church who has names of blasphemy written all over her forehead, and from her came all the protestant denominations that exist today and although they are sincere people, and sincerely wrong, I do love them and pity them for the Lord's sake and I do what I can to love them to the Turth of the Word of God. I dislike or hate no one. These are my thoughts. However, what is important are His thoughts, and not mine. What does the Bible say? Read Genesis 2:7 that tells us what we are: "And the Lord God formed man out of the dust of the ground, and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life and man BECAME a living soul." We BECAME living souls, the Bible does not say that we have souls, or that we were given souls, it clearly states that we BECAME souls or nephesh or living creature, air-breathing creatures. I wish you a clearer understanding of His word. May His peace be yours today is my prayer and may His Truth be yours thereby: The Good News Minister! Preaching against the BAD News that most 'angels of light' preach today and standing firmly upon the promises of God's word that in the coming age, the 'knowledge of the Lord shall cover the earth as the waters cover the sea'. |

3 | What is our soul | Bible general Archive 1 | goodnewsminister | 87804
Dear Sven, Here are the Bible's answers to your questions: (1) What is man made of anyway? Genesis 2:7 reads,"And the Lord God formed man out of the DUST OF THE GROUND, and breathed into his nostrils THE BREATH OF LIFE and man BECAME a living soul." So the Bible plainly states that the DUST OF THE GROUND- OUR BODY PLUS the BREATH OF LIFE - OUR SPIRIT equals or adds up to our very LIFE- our SOUL. (2) Isn't he three parts? No, Man is NOT a trinity, just as God is NOT a trinity. We are SOULS, we do not HAVE souls. Our Body combined with the breath of life or the ability to breath or vitality, the same vitality that is in the animal kingdom is what makes up our SOUL, our very life and being. Ecclesiastes 3:19 For that which befalleth the sons of men befalleth beasts; even one thing befalleth them: as the one dieth, so dieth the other; yea, they have all ONE breath [the breath of life from God] ; so that a man hath no preeminence above a beast: for all is vanity. (Whole Chapter: Ecclesiastes 3 In context: Ecclesiastes 3:18-20) The difference between us and the brute beast is that we have what the Bible calls,'the spirit in man', this spirit in man, given by God to ALL mankind is what is combined with our human brain to form our mind, will and emotions. We all need God's Holy Spirit in order for us to be able to truly understand and comprehend spiritual truths. Adam and Eve were created physical beings, they are not spiritual beings and neither are we, unless we receive God's Holy Spirit and become spirit begotten children of our Heavenly Father.1 Corinthians 2:11 For what man knoweth the things of a man, save the spirit of man which is in him? even so the things of God knoweth no man, but the Spirit of God. (Whole Chapter: 1 Corinthians 2 In context: 1 Corinthians 2:10-12) Yes, we are a complete being, a soul, if any ONE of our parts that makes us up is missing, i.e., either the breath of life or the body, our life-our soul dies and ceases to exist until the Resurrection. Yours for Truth, The Good News Minister |

4 | Jesus says I AM | Bible general Archive 1 | Sven | 87828
Dear Good News Minister, Thanks for the other answer you sent me I will meditate on the verses you referenced. What do you make of the two verses below. Wasn't he referencing the time God said tell "I AM"? I love it when Jesus begins by saying I tell you the truth, because I am pretty sure Jesus doesn't lie, so what is he telling the truth about. "I tell you the truth," Jesus answered, "before Abraham was born, I am!" John 8:58 45Yet because I tell the truth, you do not believe me! 46Can any of you prove me guilty of sin? If I am telling the truth, why don't you believe me? 47He who belongs to God hears what God says. The reason you do not hear is that you do not belong to God." John 8:45-47 Thanks, Sven |

5 | Jesus says I AM | Bible general Archive 1 | goodnewsminister | 87837
Dear Sven, I do not believe He was claiming diety here, He was saying, as it is rendered in another version I have, that is published by the Philippine Bible Society, "Before Abraham was, I was already here in existence", Also, note that the same Greek words used by Jesus here, saying, "I am" were also used by Paul and the other Apostles throughout the New Testament. The explanation mark is not in the original, so disregard it in the English rendering. Yes, Proverbs chapter 8 describes our Lord's preexistence in these words: 22 "The LORD brought me forth as the first of his works, [2] , [3] before his deeds of old; 23 I was appointed [4] from eternity, from the beginning, before the world began. 24 When there were no oceans, I was given birth, when there were no springs abounding with water; 25 before the mountains were settled in place, before the hills, I was given birth, 26 before he made the earth or its fields or any of the dust of the world. 27 I was there when he set the heavens in place, when he marked out the horizon on the face of the deep, 28 when he established the clouds above and fixed securely the fountains of the deep, 29 when he gave the sea its boundary so the waters would not overstep his command, and when he marked out the foundations of the earth. 30 Then I was the craftsman at his side. I was filled with delight day after day, rejoicing always in his presence, 31 rejoicing in his whole world and delighting in mankind. speaking thus of His preexistence with the Father for ions of time before even the earth was created, Jesus dwelt with the Father and became like Him in every way, hence, Jesus could say that, "If ye have seen me, ye have seen the Father", for as Hebrews states Jesus is the "express image of the Father." John 14:9 Jesus answered: "Don't you know me, Philip, even after I have been among you such a long time? Anyone who has seen me has seen the Father. How can you say, 'Show us the Father'? The Jews did not ever teach that the Messiah was to be God in human flesh, such is foreign to Jewish thought and as Christians, we should base our beliefs on Judaism, as Jesus Himself was a Jew. He was a 'corresponding ransom' for Father Adam, and as such, was Adam's equal before the fall. He balanced out the scales of justice for us all and redeemed us all back to His Father and to His God and our God. O How great a Savior do we have indeed! Praise be unto His Name! |
