1 | Is asking for money false? | 2 John 1:10 | BradK | 143718 | ||
Hi Luis, I gather from your post to Hank that you're definitely NOT a fan of Bid "Mega" churches or any organized denominational authority? Bigger isn't necessarily bad and not all large churches are apostate, etc. It sounds like you're more of a lone-ranger and that's OK- for you. I definitely wouldn't be interested in any Network of Home Churches, but thanks. Speaking the Truth in Love, BradK |

Spelling Changes: Greetings Brad, briefly, I believe if Jesus and Paul, Peter, and the other Disicples were here today, you would call them "lone-rangers too", so I receive the compliment...The Church began, as the Holy Spirit led the Faithful to start and "continue" Home Churches...Question is, why did it change? Who led the change? (angel of light???)Remember "many"/mega are called, but "few" are chosen. And don't be "put off" by my phrase "Network of Home Churches" that simply means the Body of Christ around the world fellowshipping in Home Churches. Led and taught by God, not by man. Your body is made up of a "network", isn't it??? Again, with many of the "phrases" I use they are simply assisting in creating an Image, but take away the the phrase and it is simply the Body of Christ... Thanks 4 your inquiry... Crucified in HIM, Luis |

Hi Luis, I'll echo the query by CDBJ in another post in asking of you 2 things: 1. Who are you leading? As John Maxwell has aptly observed, "If you think you're leading and nobodys' following, you're only taking a long walk." 2. Why would I want to follow you, your teaching, or your leadership? What would you offer me that my church can't? Speaking the Truth in Love, BradK |

re: What would you offer me that my church can't? Let me chime in here. As nobody outside your church can know what your church offers, and nobody outside yourself truly knows what you need, it would be difficult for anyone, other than yourself, to answer that question. Hopefully, your church is offering the same message as all other churches: follow the teachings of christ. (said with tongue in cheek) The conflict between churches is one of interpretation and presentation. If your question is to ask "what is your articles of faith/how stictly do you interpret the words used in scriptures/and how do you see the presentation of the message should be delivered, so I can understand if you are a better match for my needs?", then you have yourself an interesting question that I would like to hear as well. |

Hi dhuskins, It was intended as a leading question:-) I think if you read the thread and follow it, you'll get a sense of why I asked what I did. The poster seems to have their own "agenda" and proposing a new and or different avenue for us to pursue- not in-line with mainstream denominations, etc. I'm merely seeking as to why I would want to follow their direction or advice:-) In short, I'm not clear on where they're headed to or even coming from.
