1 | How about Deut33:7? | 1 Pet 2:24 | EdB | 82431
Imf I did not say healing wasn't available today nor did I say God won't heal you! I said, "to say God will heal you everytime is absurd." Don't put words in my mouth, I very much beleive in the prayer for healing and in divine healing. I have seen many healed and I have received God's mercy poured out in healing. I also believe there times, reasons and people that for reasons I do not always understand that God does not choose to heal. Your right Moses, Aaron, Enoch, and Elijah didn't die from injury or disease. I think they are the exceptions rather than the rule don't you? EdB |

Forgive me please? Yes I agree there are reasons that people arent healed and have seen both. I do not know enough scripture to give you that may change your mind. I do know that from Gen 20:17 to 3John 1:2 healing is in the bible and Jesus said He would never abandon us.
3 | How about Deut33:7? | 1 Pet 2:24 | EdB | 82479
Imf See this is the problem with so much of this thinking. You said Jesus will never abandon us. That is absolutely right! Whether we are healed or not does not change that fact! To connect the two is where there is a problem. Jesus will never leave you but that doesn't say you will always be healed. EdB |

It is a good thing Jesus doesnt abandon us even when we act in a way that isnt in line with His word. Jer 30:17 For I will restore health unto thee and I will heal thee of thy wounds saith the Lord.

So scripture says consider Jesus that endured such contradiction of sinners against himself, lest ye be wearied and faint in your minds. Heb 12:3. Would it not be wonderful if we christians could focus on what Jesus did to save us and come togather as one united church in Him? |
