1 | DID JESUS EVER MARRY OR HAVE THE TEMPTAT | Heb 2:17 | Hank | 35204
Suzyq, well I've been married 42 years and haven't "suffered" from it in the least; it has been a blessing from God. Jesus was a guest in Cana at a wedding; He was not the groom! No, there is not even a hint in Scripture that our Lord married, dated, had a sweetheart, or anything of the kind. It is clear that Scripture records that our Lord met with temptation, and it is equally clear that He did not yield to it. It is not necessary to be married in order to be subject to or taste the sufferings that are endemic to the human condition. Depending on the quality of the marriage, it can exacerbate some of the problems of living or help to alleviate them. --Hank

I DON'T WANT TO IMPLY THAT MARRIAGE IS "SUFFERING" JUST THAT A FEW FRIENDS SAY THAT BECAUSE HE ENDURED ALL THINGS AS AN EXAMPLE TO US THAT HE WAS IN FACT MARRIED . I THINK I HAVE SPARKED A FEW QUESTIONS THAT WILL ONLY BE ANSWERED IN ETERNITY. THANK YOU. SUZYQ
