1 | What are our duties as man and wife | Eph 5:1 | tanne9595 | 142059
Your knowledge is wonderful. I did not know to read the other half before I asked more questions. I can not thank you enough for your response. It is so much more clear to me know. And how to go about my life now. Now that there is so much tech. and all. Is fornication also concidered with porn sites and such.Isn't that putting lustful thoughts in your mind. When god says not to do that? Is that a form of cheating? In my mind it is. Because to want to look at sites like that is pure satan working. What are your views on this? |

2 | What are our duties as man and wife | Eph 5:1 | greentwiga | 142061
Now, I hate porn with a passion. But, It is not fornication. If it was, the woman would be married to him without knowing it. Remember the passage where one who goes to a prostitute is one flesh with her? Jesus, though, did make a point in Matt 5:28 A man who looks at a woman lustfully (porn is included) has comitted adultery with her in his heart. Not physically, so no grounds for divorce and remarriage (not maritial unfaithfulness a couple of verses later), but his sin in God's eyes is just as bad. Notice, I am trying to walk a careful line. I hold marriage as sacred, I want people in danger to be able to leave, and I want to guard against easy justification of divorce. Many people don't want to get healed. They would rather blame the other, even manipulate them into a hard place to feel justified in getting divorce. Thus I do not want to say just looking at porn sites would be grounds for divorce.
